Burrows was supposed to be a regular with them last night. It's just that the first PP started right after he finished a PK shift. He was out there for the second PP that Daniel took a penalty on two seconds in. I'd be surprised if he wasn't given a chance tomorrow.

because they want to spread some ice time around the lineup.

Burrows already plays on the first line and has first line penalty kill duties.. you want to put him on the first powerplay too?

Ace up the sleeve! We can't give enemy scouts an advance look at our secret weapon.

Want some proof the rest of the world looks down on the Sedins and doesnt consider them 1st liners? Check out what most of the dim-witted Leafs fans are saying about them on their board.

If it makes our 1st PP line more effective? yes.

I get when he has just come off a PK shift or something, but if he's got the legs why not toss him out there. Burrows has looked fabulous with them. Wellwood did for a week months ago, Bernier has looked pitiful, and Pyatt is a tool.

I am not the only person to notice that the Sedins don't seem to have a real great success rate on the PP. I think that a PPQB would greatly improve that, but so would a line mate that is more effective than my grandmother.

Personally I love it, hopefully it plays a role when it comes to their next contracts. I'd rather the Canucks sign underrated guys than overrated guys. Remember when Detroit signed Datsyuk, how badly everyone was mocking them for locking so much money into a playoff choker. Yeah...

Do you really think that any NHL GM is that dumb? They know what these guys are.

Probably not, but I can hope. Media hype can do alot to raise a player's value.

To raise it, yeah. High profile guys put people in the building. But unless the Sedins somehow got some sort of reputation as neo-Nazis or baby-eaters or something, I can't see them being so underrated that a GM would actually think that signing them would be bad for the business end.

Who cares what Leaf fans think, they are the worst franchise in the NHL the last 30 years

Leafs fans seem to be pretty dumb but it's probably only because there's so many of them. At least they aren't bandwagoners.

You might as well give the Sedins a NTC if it lowers their salary because realistically, they're virtually untradeable.

yea, no question, they should be more like the Canucks with all their Stanley Cup banners and history of success ... why do they even play the games? whats the point if Vancouver will just win every game, they should just give the Canucks the Stanley Cup this year

They keep on rolling.

Henrik with a goal, Daniel 2A, Burrows 1G 1A tonight.

Burrows has made this line so much better.

To be fair, the Canucks have had more appearances in the SCF than the Leafs have since the Canucks joined the league...

3 points each for the Twins tonight. Daniel hits 80 points on the year and moves into 12th in league scoring. Henrik has 79 and is 13th.

Daniel is 4 points from tying his career high. Henrik is 2 away from his.

5 games to go...86-87 point season for brother Daniel? Pretty hard not to get a ton of dough when you're putting up numbers like that.

Daniel Sedin now has the most even strength points in the entire western conference.

The duo of Henrik and Daniel have the second most combined even strength points in the entire league behind only Pittsburgh's Malkin and Crosby.

If they perform well in the playoffs 6 mil each wouldn't be overpayment for them at all.
