Listening to Habs games by cellphone?

Hey guys.. considering I work nights, I'd love to find a way to listen to the games online.

I plan on getting the blackberry storm, so I've thought about trying CJAD, although my friend couldnt get it to work.

If anyone has a blackberry, could you try it? And if not, what other radio options via cell would there be?

There's an app called "Nobex Radio Companion" Nobex

With this app, you can add CJAD to your stream, I'm pretty sure CKAC is also an option.

Enjoy

**Edit - Yes, this available on the storm. I have it, use it all the time. I love listening to the post-game on it Gotta love my storm. If you have any questions, PM me, I have a lot of cool things to tell you about this phone. You ahve to be adventurous to bring the best of it out.

I watch games on my cell phone through Orb. Its a free app, but youll need a tv tuner, cable tv, and unlimited mobile browsing on your phone. Im with Virgin and it only costs me 7$ per month.

When I'm at work during the evening I go to www.hockeywebcasts.com, click on your nhl team and there will be a link to listen to the game for free!

Thanks so much.

I'll PM you when I get the phone so I'll actually know what I'm doing/talking about.

Thanks.

Unfortunately, at work, I can't really watch the game so I think that'd be a waste of money.. but thanks for the advice as I'm sure others will find this useful!

So, how much would it cost me per month to get a decent phone bundle with unlimited mobile browsing per month on a blackberry? (Tax included and all the yadda yadda)

With most new cellphones, you can just plug a pair of headphones and tune it to FM 98.5.

Don't you have to pay to have the radio on your phone?

No. All my Nokia phones have FM tuner, as well as my Sony Xperia. I don't think the Storm has it tho. Oh.. and also, I have some knowledge in cellphone and the Storm isn't that good.

I bought an app for the iPhone called WunderRadio that allows me to listen to streams of pretty much any major station in North America. I like it, though I've never had to use it for games, but I could if I had to.

Definitely, send me a PM. Blackberry just released their AppWorld (To go against Apple's App store) today, so you're just in time

Corus Radio doesn't own CJAD; with the app, you'd only get the French feed. With the one I posted about (WunderRadio), you can get CJAD. I think it's $6.

Oh that's sweet man, thanks a lot. Just downloaded it. I'm often caught in my car on my way home or out, and I get a very very fuzzy signal from CKAC since I'm 2 hours away in Ottawa haha. It's enough to usually hear what's going on, or at least what the score is or when someone gets a goal. This will change the way I live. You're my hero.
