Pretty pathetic how bandwagony the Flyers fanbase has become. 36 hours ago, this guy is the anti-Christ, now he's everybody's hero.

Anyways, hope he does well because if he has a bad 7 game stint, everybody's going to be campaigning for him to be traded all summer.
Wrong. People who upset because it seemed like he didn't want to be here. No one ever said " he is a bad prospect ".

People ( myself included ) were upset with him not signing earlier and making comment's like he didn't know if he wanted to go pro or that he was " soul searching ".

Now that he has signed I am behind him 100 %.

This is great to see him signed by the Flyers now. It's also great that he is going to get (hopefully) at least 7 games under his belt. I say hopefully because I don't know if he is going to be able to be here on time to play tonight, unless of course the Flyers had a plane all waiting for him.

Can't wait to hear reports on him and this will make me want to pay attention to the Phantoms for the rest of the season, hopefully CSN will have at least one game on TV before the end of the year.

If he is on something like DNL tonight can someone please say so, as I will make sure I watch that whenever I can

I don't know if JVR is officially in the lineup for tonight, but if he is, here's a link to the Phantoms site, where the audio is available for free, and there's a link for video for a fee.

Hhahah I saw that too. Must suck to log on and have all these posts from people you have no idea who they are. I guess he kind of gets it though for being friends with him. I am friends with him but I don't write **** on his wall.

By the way, any predictions for tonight. I saw he notches an assist

Phantoms don't have a #21. And the #22 for UNH Steve Moses is a freshman.

I write on it but not like I'm his real friend or something, every so often. I left a few posts for Nodl when he got called up, scored his first goal, laid someone out, etc., but I don't act like I'm really his friend or something. Like when other people do so that he doesn't get email notices for some dude who he's never even met.

JVR was #10 for rookie camp, so I wouldn't be surprised if that's what he ends up with, although no one is wearing #21 right now. I think we're ready for someone else to wear #10 unless they have plans to retire it, or are planning for Brad Tapper to come back.

AAANNNDD I just came ......

onto the board, I have been busy all day.

Excited for the news!!!!!!! This is awesome.

Seriously though, I think they just assigned him #22, Sbisa said they just put #47 in his locker. I honestly hope he wears #21 with the Flyers. I would love to buy his jersey.

I'll take that, if you can get your lady friend to make me a playoff avatar. I think "22% More Phantom Menace" works. Please, and thank you!

Damn, if he takes #21 next season I got to change up my thinking. I usually switch forums by typing in the number, and I got myself the habit to remember numbers by jersey numbers. So this forum is "Forsberg."

I don't recall anyone wearing 10 since LeClair, even in camp. Maybe I am wrong.
