Rank them, which player would you want on your team going forward?

Sorry Mods, I'm not trying to kick an ant hill here... I've heard Montreal Fan's opinions and Leaf fan's opinions, I'm just curious to hear some other opinions.

Sergei is still young I guess... he sure does act like one. If he matures, man the raw potential in him is just oozing.

If I'm building a team, I go with Grabovski.

as a habs fan, I hate them all. They suck. But I still think that Sergei will breakout next year and he's the only of them who's going to be great imo.

Homer bias aside, 100% objectively thinking:

AK
Grabs
SK

Andrei is clearly the one with the most upside and is the more proven player of the three. He scored 27 goals last year and will score around 25 this year, barring he gets on fire or that he doesn't get out of the slump he's currently in.

After that, Grabo has looked better than Sergei this year, but that's playing in an environment where he's relied on and is playing on the top 2 lines. Sergei has been sent to the minors and has had a pretty bad season compared to what he achieved last year. For that reason alone, I got Grabovski over Sergei, but I believe both players have near equal talent and promise for the future. That said, Andrei's clearly above both in terms of talent and achievements in the league.

Sergei at 25 will be better than Grabovski now in my opinion. Also don't like the diva attitude of Grabo.

Well, allow me to try.

Sergei made the NHL at 20, outplaying a 24 years old Grabovski to do so. Sergei had a setback this year but he's still way ahead in development than Grabovski at the same age. All signs points to Sergei being the superior player down the line.

Thats not an argument at all, its just a bunch of opinion. Where are all these signs showing SK to be the better player? One is struggling to stay in the NHL, one is a legit scoring threat in the NHL

I think if SK got Grabs minutes he wouldn't have a such hard time...
