It's just that Bourque refused to commit to New hempshire and decided to go in the Q

For their third round selection, the Atlanta Thrashers are pleased to select from the Edmonton Oil Kings winger Tomas Vincour.

Tomas is a full package of size and skill and has shown in his first season in the WHL that he can adapt to the North American game.

He also has the added bonus of being the best player available with long vowel sounds in his name. Dooochene. Moriiiiin. Vincoooour.

Atlanta has never drafted so good!

We need to add more wingers to our group of forwards and believe that this high-skilled, high-tempo winger will solidify that group. Rodin is very skilled and possesses every quality to become a great offensive forward in higher leagues.

Colorado and DougHarvey are PM'd.

Thanks Whitesnake and good pick, I was somewhere where I had no internet access for work....

P.S. I am CH4THECUP.

Sorry man, had to do it. I saw that you didn't login since the 22nd so with a full day without a pick, I decided to go. Happy that you like it. This kid might be something special. Might take some time, he needs to bulk up, but his skills are pretty good.

The Toronto Maple Leafs are proud to select out of Brynas Jr. SWE-JR., Jakob Silfverberg.

"Silfverberg is a very good skating two-way forward with very good hockey sense. Very smart with and without the puck. He has a very good wrist shot along with stickhandling ability and great hockey instincts. We're hoping he develops a physical game as with his size it can make him a force."

Next person pmed

The Dallas Stars are pleased to select Simon Bertilsson.

Don't listen to some people, we never ever thought of picking a player already drafted

Eh, I searched the page twice. Mozilla failed me. That or the use of the correct spelling.

Oh well, give me a few minutes.

The Nashville Predators are proud to select from the Edina High School, Anders Lee.

"Lee has great size and tremendous strength, but he is also quite mobile for his size and very strong on his skates. To complete his frame, Lee also has a very strong shot which he can releases very quickly. He's also a very smart player and has soft hands. We believe he has all the tools to become a great powerforward in the future for our organization."

The Minnesota Wild is proud to select from the Barrie Colts of the OHL, Alex Hutchings.

Hutchings has natural goal scoring instincts equipped with a half wrister and powerful snapshot. He competes hard and shows signs of intensity. Alex also skates well for a player of his size and his game may be better suited for the wing, as he appears to flourish when not relied upon defensively at the centre position.

With our 3rd round selection in the 2009 entry draft the Buffalo Sabres are proud to select, from the Kootenay ICE, defenseman Brayden McNabb.

Brayden is a strong defender with imposing size. He plays well physically, and also has skill to move the puck, as well as a heavy shot. We look forward to watching his development continue.

What Vatanen lacks in size, he makes up for in competitiveness, fitness, and hockey intelligence. He is able to log 30 minutes a game, quarterback a powerplay, and has outstanding skating skills.

So.....are you guys really that eager to pick? LOL

Not your turn. Please delete the posts and I'll PM the right team. Buffalo had the last pick and I'll pick he PM'ed the wrong team after but now it's Florida. 'Cause you guys are picking after me.
