One hit the Upper Deck of Harry the K's. The other hit in the middle of the landing on the side of that back drop. Nats also had another one that hit the ivey on the backdrop.

That was a wild game. Ibanez is the most clutch hitter the Phils have had in a very long time. Pat Burrell who?

So I take a glance at the game at the bar last night, phils are losing, I'm assuming they're going to lose. After the show, I find that they won.

Remind me to not assume losses anymore

He rolled his ankle. Didn't look like it should be anything worth freaking out over, but it might cost him a start or two if it's a bad one.

OK, better than going off clutching the elbow in obvious pain.

I saw his unDunn-like batting average.

I'll make this thread a sticky sinceit is used so often.

Hamels injury isnt serious. Its almost comical at this point. He was looking great last night until the injury. Almost back in full form.

http://www.philly.com/philly/sports/...aight_win.html
Quote:
"Things are snowballing for the worse for me, but the team is winning," said Hamels, who pitched a career-high 227 1/3 innnings last season but through four starts has accumulated just 17 1/3. "It's one of those things where some random things happen. It's unfortunate, but truly nothing has been too serious. The last one wasn't bad . . . This ankle injury, it's not severe. I'm not planning on missing a start. Obviously we have to see how it feels in the next couple days, but I think it helps that we have an off day. So I'm on a 6-day recovery period instead of 5."

I think he'll miss a start, but it could have been much worse news.
