Yea he is the 5th starter. They're just keeping him off the roster until he's ready so they can have another position player.

That move, predictable in its nature, will be to add Adam Eaton to the active roster. Eaton, who signed a Minor League contract with the team during Spring Training, won't be needed to start until April 12. The Orioles will take advantage of that timetable by keeping an extra infielder and an extra reliever until they need him.

But then again he isnt listed on the O's 25 man roster.
I seem to remember the Phillies saying they'd take like 7 out of the 8 mil he was owed and still finding no takers.

It would be awesome if they could get out of the first inning without being down at least 2 runs

Just another April for the Phillies.

They need to just tread water until it gets hot out and the bats wake up.

First home run of the season!!!! Ibanez with a 2 run shot. They've now doubled their run production of the first 2 games.

I've figured it out.

They're going through the same thing the Flyers went through the beginning of this year. They expected everything to be easy, and that teams would just hand them wins. They expected to roll over everyone, and now they've had their rude awakening like the Flyers did. They'll make the adjustments, and get back on track. And it'll begin when Hamels makes his first start.

I am at work, just checked the score, and my eyes nearly popped out of my head.

9-3 Braves at the end of 5.

This is very frustrating.

EDIT: Noticed Chipper is scratched due to a bruised hand. I think it's kind of funny. This guy can NOT stay healthy for even a series. haha.

I don't know if I've ever seen anything like this.

If I'm the Phillies, and it looks like they're doing this, I don't even take the bat off my shoulder unless they gave a reason to.

Oh my god, they just walked in three runners!!!!

Don't even think about swinging until they start throwing strikes.

And they're about to walk in another one!!!!
