Does anyone know how he is doing so far?
He played for my favourite team in Germany, the Starbulls Rosenheim at the beginning of last season and quickly became a fan favorite, but left the team after nine games in which he scored 15 points. Great hockey player though and i wish him all the best in Nijmegen.
Would be nice to hear some updates on him.

He's one of the top players on the team, and he has won the dutch cup (beker) yesterday, so I think he's doing just fine!

An update from Nijmegen, Phil has really impressed the people here. I think I can speak on behalf of every Nijmegen fan that we would love to keep him here for some more seasons.

Currently he has played 14 games for the Devils, where he got 7 goals and 20 assists, so almost 2 points per game.

A real nice addition to the team, which also lead, as freek posted, to the Dutch cup. Even though he didn't put up points in the final, he did play real good hockey and it sure helped the team to come back after trailing 3 times in the game to win it in overtime (5-4).

Aucoin's season is over now. He lost the playoffs semis against Tilburg (3-2), but he wasn't to blame. For me (as a Tilburg fan) he was the best player of the series. If Nijmegen got dangerous, it was mostly because of Phil. He's one heck of a player, whose ceiling most definitely is not in The Netherlands.
