I'm really sorry for these injuries guys. It's terribly frustrating I'm sure. Schneider is a Rhode Island kid and has always been one of my favorites.

I haven't seen the hit on Schneider. Was it dirty or just a freak thing?

Good hit by May. Nothing illegal or not even dangerous. Schneider probably didn't protect himself enough.

These types of things tend to get pretty heated. I haven't read through that thread so I don't exactly know what was said.

But speaking for myself, I feel that the game suffers when it's best talent isn't out there. If we play you, I want to beat you with your best players out there.

Beyond that, I've always liked Markov (even though he dived in OT of Game 2 ) and as I mentioned before Schneider is from my home state and an exciting guy to watch on the PP. We all know injuries are part of the game, but it's still a shame.

Well good news (for us) is we very likely won't play you. Bad news (for us) is we're probably going to face the Caps or New Jersey without our team MVP and a key cog in our PP. Our goaltending will have to be godlike from now on.

Both hits were clean, the Grabovski one maybe being a bit borderline, but the timing, the impact, and Grabov****! GRR

Yea I'm not going to stand up and cheer about it either. I'm still hoping for a round 2 matchup if both teams win. It's really ****** up to lose your best player in a game like that so close to the playoffs.

We need to toss a molotov into the Leafs' hotel room next year. When they come out, pull Grab by the hair and give him a beat down.

I dunno why there's so much hate for Grabovski in this case. I saw the replay and it looked like Markov just fell awkwardly into the boards, which is unfortunate. It was definitely shoulder to shoulder.

Either way, it sucks to lose your best player.

Because it's Grabovski.

In all honesty though yes, it wasn't dirty or anything. Actually, I thought Gainey was an idiot for playing stars players when the game was definitely out of reach. I could swear something was gonna happen. It's Gainey's fault.

I've been saying this all season. Markov IS the Canadiens, not Lecavalier

There's still hope it might be false!!!!!!!!!

I'm watching the press conference and a reporter asked gainey if he could verify that schneider would be out for the season and markov for 3 weeks

Gainey responded that he could not verify this situation

If that's true, we're ****ed any which way.

Our d right now is a huge

Hopefully this is wrong. Though, if we do make the playoffs and get Markov back, might be a huge boost, but...

Schneider is on the trip

Ron Fournier just said it.

What the? Maybe Schneider is gonna try it out and see if he can play with pain.
