Thank **** there are still some people who aren't currently in the fetal position drowning on their tears. Yes, we have had some bad news about the team but the sheer amount of whinging, mercy me the sky is falling types on this board is disturbing.
Here's to those who face adversity head on and look to rise to a challenge. Hopefully our Habs do just that and show everyone just why we are so proud of them.
The Habs just need to continue doing what they were and and make the playoffs from there anything can happen. People forget this time is 5-0-1 without a second line, sure it hurts losing Markov and to a lesser extent Schneids but they can be replaced offensively by a working second line and defensively the team will have to come together and get some big performances from the fill in players in the mean time.
I for one believe this team can do it, but we will know in a week what they can do for sure.
I find it truly funny that every time a tile goes down on our canadiens' heads (injuries, losing streak), fans here begin to crawl in a hole of negativity (that maybe goes over in their real lives), adn when the team does well, a lot of us go out of our holes and rest on cloud nine... That huge divergence in morale coming from a loss or a win freaking cracks me up.
BTW, have you ever noticed that each time something bad hits the team, we also have an *optimism* thread that pops up at the same time than the negativity (another fact that I find funny as it shows both opposites).
