Expected to lose.

- Lost our 2 puck moving dman
- 3rd game in 4 nights
- Rangers rested and playing more motivated

AT LEAST PHILLY WON!

I hate to be a pessimist, but the Habs need Markov and Schneider back

The fans should sing

L-O-L-O-L-O-L-O-L-O-L-O-L-O-L-O-L-O-L

Cause, that's what this team is; a joke. Did you guys see that performance ? Oh my God

Hey, Higgins, nice shots to the chest, at least you're hitting the net instead of mssing by 10 ****in' feet.

The Rangers may lost the next two games against the Flyers. Beleive it or not, we may be in 7th without even winning a game to the end of the season.

****** game. Price was tripping me out fumbling the puck all over. He made some nice key saves but eek. Poor effort from most of the guys out there. Don't even get me started about Komi...

You are not pessimist you are realist.

Then again, even with Markov we had a lot of games like this in 2009.

What an absolutely brutal, pathetic effort...embarrassing

Tired? give me a break...
Lost Markov and Schneider? fine but a least show up

Brutal...Our D is awful beyond words

Now the Panthers need to win out (ATL and Wash) and we need to lose out (which is extremely likely) to no qualify

Oh and 1 last thing why not play Dandenault and Weber instead of O'byrne and Janik....or at least play 7D since they're sooooo tired!! Gainey wake up!

Our identity and the only way we are built to play is gone. We're a puck possession team, that's how we're built and it's gone with the 2 injuries. We can't win that way anymore. When we fall behind like we did tonight, we're done. We couldn't generate anything for several shifts in a row to build momentum after falling behind.

We're gonna have to play as close to the vest as we can.

Last night was absolutely crucial and we choked it up. I fear we're gonna look back on that game come Sunday and want to cry. We're so lucky Philadelphia did us a favor.

We have no margin for error if we want to get ONE of these games to OT. We can't give teams easy goals like on that 2nd goal. We can't have Komisarek **** things up like he did on the 1st and 3rd goals. We have to backcheck like demons. We can't miss empty nets like Higgins did last night. Price has to be miraculous. Our PP has to score at a key time.

Regardless, if we get in we're going to get absolutely demolished by NJ or WSH or BOS unless Markov is there early in the series. We went from potentially being THE sleeper team of the East as late as Saturday night to *this* and it sucks.

That is true, but then again the Rangers play the Flyers very well. It's a tossup usually, and the Rangers always do better on home ice. I say they take one from Philly.

Looks like the only way the Habs get in is if the Rags and Panthers lose games because getting another point this season looks like it will probably not happen....

I don't know why people are so disappointed. As if we were going to win the cup to begin with?

It has been an up and down season, but mostly down. It should have been clear months ago what this team is capable of. Now that Schneider and Markov are out, can you all finally lower the expectations and just try to enjoy the game (or not)?

I'm totally expecting a 4 game sweep in the 1st round, so that way whatever happens I won't be disapointed.

I thought the best the Panthers could do is tie Montreal us with 93 points, and we win on a tie breaker?

On a side note : 4 shots in the second period shows a lot more about this team. When the chips are down, this team ****ing folds, packs it in, with a tail between the legs.

We were just unlucky this game. It was our second game in two nights against a team who is very good at home the 2nd goal took a favourable bounce off Gorges right to Antropov for an empty net then we hit 2 crossbars in the third period... this game wasn't nearly as bad as I thought it'd be but **** Komisarek was disgustingly bad.

We must finish 7th...We're likely losing vs the Caps in 4 or 5 but at least it will be fun to watch, vs the Ruins it won't be 'fun'

1 point? This is how nightmares happen. Miss the playoffs by one measly point. It's too perfect for it not to happen. I know it's not his fault but Obyrne will be having nightmares for months on end lol
