Not to mention that we're back in the Bell Centre...

It's an interesting way of looking at it.

My fear is that they play the Trashers and I don't see Atlanta beating them twice in a few days. And I don't think we're getting another point this regular season.

That's great and I'm excited to see him. I sure hope he's composed cuz defenders will be bum rushing him at the point like there's no tomorrow.

Too bad for Janik,I would have sent O'Byrne down and never bring him back but anyways

Happy Weber was recalled,at least someone is now going to shoot from the point on the pp!!

If Gainey didn't move Dandenault back on defense yet, then I doubt we'll see it. I'd like to see O'Byrne off the ice aswell but I'd be surprised.

I hope Dandenault is moved back to the defensive side of things, because an O'Byrne - Weber pairing would be scary.

Gorges - Komisarek
Hamrlik - Brisebois
Dandenault - Weber

At least that's what I'm hoping for.

I think they should also bring up Henrey.....He was solid in the games he played earlier. Plus at least he hits and fights.....

No once. But do they only need to win one or do they absolutely need to get 4 points? (Altanta)

Edit: I meant that Altanta beat Fla a few days ago.

Well we all do,I don't understand why Gainey didn't move Dandenault back from the beginning,meaning the Ottawa game

They played last Friday and play tomorrow.

Last game is Washington on Saturday.

Rangers have Philly Thursday and Philly on Sunday.

Florida needs all 4 pts. They drop 1 point and we're in.

I'd rather see Komisarek sent down.

My guess is we will see 7 d-men dressed tomorrow night: Komisarek, Gorges, Hamrlik, Brisebois, O'Byrne, Weber and Dandenault.

I also suspect that BG will roll 3 lines...the Koivu and Lapierre lines and then the 3 guys from the rest that deserve it. We could see a bit of Dandy on the blue line.

I thought Fla only needed 2 of 4 points.

Then yes the pressure is on them. But they are healthy and they know that we're like sitting ducks. Man, what a situation....

Montreal can finish with 96 points.
New York can finish with 95 points.
Florida can finish with 93 points.

Wins is the first tie-breaker, which Florida can't beat us on. The second tie-breaker is the season series, which we won.

For Florida to get in over Montreal;
Florida needs all 4 points and Montreal can't earn a single point.

For Florida to get in over New York;
Florida must earn 3 points while New York earns 0 .. OR .. Florida must earn 4 points while New York earns just 1. New York owns the tie-breaker over Florida.

The best part about this is Philly will be playing lights-out hockey to ensure they keep home-ice in the playoffs. Good news for Montreal and the Panthers.

I do think we will make it, but it is important to play well going into the playoffs.

Thanks for clearing that up Natey.

About Dandy, I agree with most posters here and I don't understand for the life of me the reluctance to use him on D.

Only thing I can think of is they don't have anyone that really matches his speed up front and he is somewhat gritty in the offensive zone. But overall he should be on D especially now to me it seems so obvious. I'd really like for someone to ask Gainey what his reasoning is behind keeping him up front because it baffles me. He did score our only goal last night though I suppose.
