The Flyers had 59 minutes to make up for that call.

The Canes lost, so not everything sucked tonight.

If I'm holmgren I would be making a call about DVM right now, to make sure he doesnt ref the playoffs

I feel bad for Panthers fans, they get screwed against us and then the NHL giftwrapped a win for the Rangers tonight.

Cruddy call robbed Flyers a chance being in great shape going into the weekend.

You're not going to win a ****ing game scoring one goal, stop *****ing about the reffs.

Its not like we only had 20 shots. We had 38. ran into a hot goaltender, 2 posts, a crossbar, a horrible call.

Without that call its a 1-1 game heading to OT

It seems any time we get over 35 shots, we lose.

Van Massenhoven is the same ref Mark Messier once charged as having a "vendetta" against the Rangers.

These losses are so frustrating because we played better than they did for a majority of the game, but Henrik was a ****in animal. Now we have to be tied with Pitt (I know, game in hand). I hate pittsburgh more than I've ever hated any team in my life aside from maybe the devils in the 90s...

No kidding the refs totally sucked tonight, but come on their goalie standing on their head is why we lost, no other reason

I understand you're pissed off, and so am I...but c'mon.

A blatant non-call (Hartnell crosscheck) on the Carters go ahead goal the other night versus the Panthers.

You win some, you lose some.

Like CF88 said, we had 59 minutes to get it back.

And that's exactly how it should have been, considering the play of both teams... The Rags deserved a point from their goalie, and the Flyers deserved a point with the effort I saw them displayed. I would have been happy with one point, and giving Lundquist (sp?) the other.

I don't think the missed call against Florida was as bad. I understand the point, but tonight was some of the worst **** I've ever seen.

Good game Flyers... felt like a playoff game!!! Both sides had some bad calls and both sides had excellent goaltending and effort. I think you guys outplayed us but Hank came up clutch. An extremely entertaining game to watch and I look forward to our teams meeting in the playoffs. We can hate Pittsburgh together!

Fair enough.

Hartnell BLATANTLY crosschecked a Panthers player seconds before Carter scored the game winning goal.

If we play just like that for the next 20-30 games, there is going to be a bright shiny trophy heading down Broad St.

Never is when it's in your/our favour.

I do agree though, the reffing (ACROSS THE LEAGUE) has been questionable at times this season. It's not just against the Flyers.

@Opus-Yes, against Florida they missed a cross-check against Hartnell, however they also missed a blatant slash against Carter when he had an open net to shoot at. At least those two calls balanced each other out. In this game there was nothing nearly as bad as that first goal call against the Rangers. Even if you ignore the slash against Carter that went uncalled it doesn't matter. Bad calls are bad calls. I would totally agree that we got lucky in the Florida game if the bad officiating didn't go both ways, but it did in that game. In this game, it didn't.

Great game guys. I know a lot of you are pissed about the first goal and Im not going to talk about it. Just wanted to say what a hell of a game. Your boys looked very good and had us on our heels most of the night, I just thank god we have Henrik in between the pipes. Good Luck in the playoffs, and it'll be nice to enjoy Sundays game without as much on the line. At least we can agree that: **** the Pens
