Will The Flyers Win Again?

I'm not sure if we can beat them. They are awfully strong team. I think we could do well especially if Recchi is injured and the other guys too of course. I think Esche is really good. It would be great to get one on them to get the monkey off the back before we mite meet in the POs. I think maybe Mogilny could be a superstar in this one. I have been watching the Flyers and their D is awful if you can get it down low. They go into a defensive/PK style of play then and that lets teams pingpong it around. It's kinda funny. This is our biggest test of all the games. I am really excited. But nervous.

Eeek another disaster waiting to happen. I doubt that they would win. It's something psychological

Have faith my breatheren. Maybe they should lose and lull Philly into a false sense of security for the playoffs. Either way I'll be pullin for T.O

With a full lineup, we SHOULD beat them.

If Eddie is healthy, The Leafs play solid team defense, and the big guns are healthy and ready to kick some ass, then I think that The Leafs could take those Flyers.

I really don't know if we will win. History this year suggests we won't & we haven't been playing steady lately.

It's not just a full lineup ... this team has showed that they can compete with a depleted lineup. But that its the key...would they compete?

I think they need every little piece of the puzzle healthy back on the blue line to feel comfortable. Because without Klee their blue line looks a little deflated:
McCabe Leetch
Kaberle Berehowsky
Marchment Berg

Doesn't look half as good for some reason as:
McCabe Leetch
Kaberle Klee
Marchment Berg/Johanson/Pilar

Klee is a solid part of the defense, but not being comfortble is no excuse this late in the season and so close to the playoffs. Klee wont be in, tomm...but Johanson is really looking forward to show his worth. Im hoping that works out. I also think McCabe and Leetch should be split up, McCabe has this cocky little tude since Leetch has arrived. Blind, drop-pass's, stupid crosschecks ...

A question for you. Why are you writing this on the Leafs board while writing on the Flyers board, "I would love nothing more than to wipe the ice with the Laffs, but it just seems too sweet a slice of pie to be realistically achievable."

What's your deal?

First post

I heard Klee was a couple of games away. I don't think he'd be ready for Phili.
Those flyers beat us soundly everytime we played them this year. I think it might be that Hitchcok knowing how to beat belfour. I remember the lit up Eddie for 7 goals one game. Thats just not like Eddie.

I hope not. The worst part is, with the Leafs you never know which Leafs team will show up - not good for playoff victory.

Looking at the Leafs line up there is no reason why they cannot win. They have enough offense to cover the D, if they play it smart and keep out of the box.

I'm calling a tie, just because I don't want to jinx anything.
