How painful would it be to see the Sharks win the Cup?

Not only would LA be the only CA team without a cup, but we'd aslo to have to see that ******* Blake winning another one. Blah.

I tend to root for underdogs unless its Anaheim. I want San HO to win a round just so they can go out in the 2nd round again.

I think goaltending will do in Washington, Pittsburgh, and maybe Boston (Although I'd like to see them win it). Thomas is a bit of a loose cannon. He can win games on his own, but unfortunately, can lose a series on his own as well.

I think Jersey will be tough in the east. Columbus has defense issues, but I'd like to see Mason make a Cam Ward-esque run deep into the playoffs just for their fans. They have been horrible for so long yet they continue to pack the building game in and game out. I can appreciate that.

The west is tough because it is loaded with goalies who can absolutely steal the entire playoffs. Luongo, Kipper, Nabokov, Osgood always seems to show up in the playoffs, Mason is capable. I'd like to see Chicago go though, good young team.

I want Carolina and St Louis to do well.
Having lived in both places I am partial to those teams.

I also will root for any team playing Detroit, Anaheim, and Pittsburg.

Boston.

I'd love to see Boston and San Jose in the finals and have Boston win.

I don't care about Blake. It's Roenick I don't want to see lift the Cup

I'm rooting for Columbus.

I think I want Boston or Washington to win it all, mostly because they are the two msot entertaining teams to watch overall this year. I want Chicago or Columbus to come out of the West. Its time the East got another cup though, especially since I don't want the Wings, Flames or Sharks sniffing anywhere near finals ice. Florida would be cool to see get to the ECF, buts that quite far enough. After all, I want to see Bouwmeester on a another team!

I hope Montreal gets swept in the first round and there is a mass heart attack up there.

New Jersey is the only other team I wouldn't mind winning it all. Mostly because I want it clear that Brodeur kicks Roy's ass any and every day of the week, and another cup along with his record this year should help to seal that up.

I'm up for a Boston/Sharks final, with Boston winning the Cup. After all, if I can't have the tension of the Kings there, I may as well have the tension of REALLY wanting to see the Sharks get THAT close, only to lose. And to my 2nd favorite team the Bruins, no less.

Boston better not win. I heard enough when the Red Sox won (twice--and it wasn't even against the Dodgers), and I even heard it when the Celtics won (and neither my friends nor I are nearly as big of basketball fans as we are hockey and baseball). I will be ****ing furious if the Bruins win, and I will NEVER hear the end of it.

Heh, that would be awesome. But that would mean that the Sharks are precisely as successful as the Kings (having one finals appearance and losing) and I like having that leg up on them. So maybe they make it just before the finals and lose.

I am officially pulling for the Bruins now.

Anyone playing the Ducks and Boston. Pulling for Columbus in the west, and Philadelphia in the east.

My favorite teams in the playoffs will be any team playing the Sharks, Ducks, or Dead Things, in that order.

Caps or Blues. A couple of coaches who couldn't hack it as part of AEG moving on to bigger and better things.

I will go a little further and tell you how I would like to see it happen.

Philly v. San Jose in the finals. Game 7, double overtime, Rob Blake with a horrible pass at the blue line that directly leads to the Philly game winning goal.

Philly v. Vancouver in the finals. Canucks are up 2-0 in the series. It's game 3. Canucks are up 3-2. Luongo is injured with 6 minutes left. LaBarbara is put in and promptly gives up 2 goals. Philly makes it a 2-1 series and then proceeds to win 3 straight. Jason's stats - 4.25 GAA and .847 SV%

Caps v. Red Wings in the finals. Game 7. Ovechkin scores the game winner and naturally he goes nuts! When he is interviewed he specifically thanks "Don Cherry for reminding me to win with an understated grace"

Penguins v. Flames. Crazy high scoring series. Cammy with 5 goals in that series including the GWG in game 7. He scores a total of 16 goals in the playoffs and has 28 points and is named MVP.
