If he plays the left side, it should be safer for him. Lucic tends to get his best hits on the right side defensemen...playing mostly as a LW. Just has to keep his head when the 4th line is on, mainly Bitz, but otherwise he'll be fine...he's as sharp as it gets when trying to avoid being hit. May got lucky the other night.

And people said Schneider was old and useless! I love the dude's attitude and dedication to this team!

He has 16 points in his 21 games in Montreal. There will be teams trying to sign him..

Doctor: In my professional opinion, the pain would be too severe. Plus, you're risking compounding the injury if you play like this. Sorry Mat, I just can't let you play with that shoulder.

Schneider: I don't care what you say, I'm going to play. My team needs me. Give me your strongest painkiller!

Doctor: I can't do that Mat. I'm a doctor, we have rules to follow.

Schneider: **** your rules! My team needs me! Shoot me up!

Doctor: Sorry Mat. I just can't do it.

Schneider: Fine, I'll play without it. [Storms towards door. Opens the door and turns back to the doctor before leaving.] You might not understand this, but sometimes a man has to take chances in life. Sometimes a man has to do things he probably shouldn't do. My time as a pro is almost up. I know. But I still have something left to give my team. There's twenty guys going to Boston tonight that will need me tomorrow, and I'll be damned if I'm not there to help them. You can stay here in your nice office, follow your rules, and never take a chance on anything, but I'm going to Boston and you're not going to stop me from playing. [Turns around to storm out the open door]

Doctor: Mat...

Schneider: [Turns around to face the doctor again] What?

Doctor: Give em hell!

[Schneider smiles, nods and walks out the door. "Don't Stop Believing" by Journey fades in as we see a montage of Schneider prepping for and traveling to the game, showing up just moments before it starts.]
I just pictured something:

After all this Schneider walks out of the room and he slips on the wet floor...the music stops suddenly. Schneider ends up getting up 5 minutes later and walks slowly out. The movie ends.

This is why I would not be a good script writer, I'm too ****ing random.

This news just made my day. Absolutely awesome news.

If the team doesn't come out guns blazing tonight, I'd very surprised!

I'll be cheering like a maniac tonight!!!!

Sobotka is a small, albeit feisty player, but nothing to worry about. Not the type to lay big hits.

In the lockeroom, minutes before the game.

Everybody is looking at their skates, demoralized. Weber is puting tape on his stick and he feels all the pression that awaits him. Breezer gets up:

Breezer : Hey guys! what are we? Are we realy depending on Schneidy? I can skate as fast as him and i have a booming shot... why weren't you demoralize when i was hurt? Because you acted like a team.

Koivu : Actualy we weren't demoralized because you su...

Breezer : Hey! let me finish first. I'm going to go on the powerplay and score a goal for this team, i'm going to do it guys...

Schneider open the door behind Breezer

Breezer : I'm going to be your number one offensive defensemen for the rest of the season. (raise his arms in the air)

Schneider : Not as long as i can breath!

Breezer, surprised falls on his butt and nobody care, all the team is going to congratulate Schneider. Weber also, even thought he thinks that he's not gonna play because of Schneidy's return.

Schneidy : Sorry kid, but we have a cup to win.

Weber : Yeah i understand... go guys and win it for me.

Gainey (entering the room) : Why dont you go win it yourself? Breezer your out, the kid's in.

Schneidy and Weber give each others a high five.

Eyes of the tiger fade in at the same time than the first face off, Schneidy and Weber paired, with Breezer in the pressbox watching the game, waiting for his next opportunity...

A rotator cuff is not something you use a lot in hockey, unlike baseball.

Not sure I agree with that...i'm sure the muscles you use for picthing are the same you would use to wind up for a shot

Hilarious

I'd love Scheneider playing a big brother role with Weber. He's been great with Bogosian so why not. This is great news, Scheneider's shot is a must on the PP. The guys HAVE to come hard, there`s no freaking excuse tonight.

I just read the report
Huge boost.
He have a decent shot, not as good as if we got Markov back. But it "should" be better then it has been.
