Washington but at this point I'm just glad that we're in and that we are not facing the Devils. If we face Boston and win and then face 2nd round Theodore it would be amazing

Definitely Boston. I don't want to have to face the best player in the world and this year's Norris trophy winner!

Washington. Tired of the Pruins. Let someone else knock them out.

At first I said Washington but now not so sure...

Boston pros:

-They have less offensive power than Washington IMO
-If we manage to get in Thomas's head we could do some damage
-PO history between the 2 teams in recent years

Cons:

-They will get immunity from the refs for their rough play (like tonight)
-They have a very good defense
-They are very physical

Washington pros:

-Suspect defense
-Theo is NOT the goalie he was 5-6 years ago
-Not extremely physical
-Play the same game as us (up tempo and quick)

Washington cons:

-Ovechkin, Semin, Backstrom and Green

That's a tough question, but I would rather play Washington. Boston seems to be better built for the playoffs than Washington (Although Washington's offense is scary)

Bruins, only because we have the "mind games" over them

Think Ottawa/Toronto in the late 90's...we just have the B's #

Until they beat us, it's going to be in the back of their minds. Win game 1 and get them nervous.

From a skill level point of view, Washington would be more fun to watch because they play a similar style of game. They're not as physical as Boston too. And I don't recall them ever resorting to goon tactics, they'd rather show up on the scoreboard.

Plus, it's the Russians vs. the Russians/Belarussians!!!

Washington, for the simple reason that after we'd beat the Bruins in a long hard fought series we'd be so beaten up physically and mentally drained that we'd be easy pickings for the second round opponent ... the point is to have a shot at the cup, not bragging rights over a rival.

well your option is a team that won 5 out of 6 against us and has the vezina and also potential norris winner!

We won every game against them last year and almost lost. We have Thomas' number. Chara looks silly when we use our speed against him. The intangible is that we're in the Booins' head. I'll take those odds.

their physical style worries me. plekachu will be invisible the entire series.

komisarek cant take everyone for an entire series.

anyways, ill just let the chips fall where they may. at least we are in.

I rather see something new, so i choose Washington.
But one thing is sure, if Montreal play Boston, they better dress up Laraque.
