As for the Habs being in the B's heads and all this moral victory stuff, that's laughable. The B's had absolutely nothing to play for last night....yet, they still won.
Come on.. Yesterday was exactly how your team plays in the playoffs so maybe they had nothing to play for but they played like they did.

If the 'real' Bruins didn't show up last night for a game that is probably a playoff preview and one of the biggest rivalries in hockey, that's not good for them at all.

All I'm saying is just know what you are talking about before you make an outlandish statement. Stuart is not a pylon. I don't care that nobody cares. Just putting in my view.

The Habs aren't divers and Komisarek and Kostitsyn aren't dirty players.

This board is going to get ugly if we play Boston in the playoffs...

Good luck, mods. You'll need it.

That goes out to both forums.

I say they should just lock the Canadien and Bruins boards, open up a new "Habs vs. Bruins: Unmoderated" board and let the destruction happen.

You guys do realize most of them are like 12 years old right. So unless you are in their age range it kind of makes for pointless sparring with them as they are quite under challenged.

One look at such a fictive board would draw tears of blood from one's eyes.

I honestly believe these two organizations absolutely love playing each other.

Nothing gets a team more pumped that a heated rivalry.
Not only that, but I'm sure the league would love a first round of Habs-Bruins again, simply because ALOT of people are gonna watch this, so ALOT of money involved...

And as for the teams and their fans, I think it's some kind of complicated Love-Hate relationship...

Actually, I did not say anything to any Habs fans over there. I thought a lot of them were gracious in defeat. So you should probably check my post history next time.

If the Habs are in the Bruins' heads, then the Bruins must be in Price's head.
I think our record against you guys this year, vs. last year's 0-8, suggests this topic/thread is absurd, in fact quite opposite.

If Habs play the Bruins in the PO, it's gonna be hell on HFBoards.

If we can come out strong in Game 1, using our speed and Price plays with confidence, we'll get in their head pretty quickly and it will end up in a replica of every spring.

If they get the early momentum, this will be a tough one to win.

True that.

Last year there were many bans handed out.

Price is playing alright i guess, but he doesn't have that ( i will steal one ) for the team mentallity. The way we have seen it in the past with Roy and Theo, just flat out steal a game for the team. He will make some very nice saves but when it counts, the game ends up 5-4. Like last night, when T Thomas was downright bad, Price still couldn't steal one for his team.

How far can you blame your goalie and expect him to steal a game?

We lost because of two mistakes : Dandenault penalty and Lapierre in OT. Price couldn't do anything about that. Price was better than Thomas yesterday ; however, the Bruins have a better offense.
