The Path to a Division Championship

New Jersey takes on visiting Penguins tonight. Hopefully the Penguins continue their surprising streak and defeat the Devils and help Pennsylvania win the division.

They won't beat us out of the division, no Stevens and Rafalski means no catch up.
Their team relies on good D, and without 2 of their top 3, it'll be hard to win teh majority of their last games. Plus our schedule ain't too shabby. We've only got 2 and half tough games left. Ottawa and Toronto and Montreal because of their recent surge.

If all goes as it should, the Flyers will end up #1 in the east and #2 in the NHL... Catching Tampa Bay is VERY reasonable because they HAD two games at hand and in their last two, they've lost to pretty cheap teams... They still have one game at hand, but they're only one point ahead of the Flyers. Basically, IMO, it's just a matter of the Flyers focusing on each individual game, rather than scoreboard watching or getting far sighted.

it's always good to see the Devils lose but Tampa losing is better. as long as we continue to pick up points of course.
