I'm pretty sure CF has a full beard already. Only takes him a day or two.

I TOTALLY AGREE with that statement. My prediction: If the Devils take the series, they march through the east like Sherman marched through the south. If we take the series, we totally have to scrap, claw, and fight our way to win another series. Just Saying.....

Well I just shaved off my sideburns and other growing hair around my face and I'm ready to grow. I still have my goatee and stache cause that has taken me a while to grow (the goatee anyways). I think I'm gonna sign up for that beardathon thing.

Our best hope would be to beat NJ and have Mon or NYR win their series... If that happens, I REALLY like our chances

DaleCooper, you should make another meter of wins needed like you did last year for the "Laviolette-o-meter". It was kinda cool and I think it would be fun to have one counting up to 16 Wins in which we would successfully need to hoist Lord Stanley.

I don't think it would be a 'jinx' or anything of that nature. We know what it is like to win, we definitely know what it is like to lose and sure as hell know what it is like to not even get the chance to play for what was once ours. Mise well make the best of what is yet to be and have some fun in doing so.

Yes? No? What does everyone think?

God that picture pains me to look at... although it's much easier to look at now that we are going to be playing some playoff hockey.

I shaved my full beard off yesterday and got a hair cut. Last time I was completely baby faced was the last day of the regular season in 06. Here's hoping it works again!

Over at the Blues board we have a poll of which team (besides the Blues) we think will win the Stanley Cup. My vote was for Carolina.

You guys have lots of scoring, experienced d-men and a Cup-winning goalie who's playing his ass off.

Hurricanes will win the Cup this season.

I CALLED IT!!!

Percent capacity is overrated when each team is not filling the building. Both of these cities are over a quarter-million population and each have rather large metro areas. Attendance is nothing to brag about for either city (or start flame-wars with).

Best of luck, Johnny Rebs. Here's to an entertaining series. Seems like it sure will be.

I thought we were playing the Devils, not the Blue Jackets? SCF maybe?

Guys - please leave the discussion to the game and not find ourselves "discussing" the NJ Devil's board, their posters or the fans in general. I know there is only so much to discuss....but lets not get the nastiness started before the series even begins. It only reflects badly on us.

Besides, ECUguy is back - we can use the extra time to pick on him.

So glad to have CG back at full bore. We really missed you during the season and now that the Buffalo team is eliminated we get you 100%. That is the best news we could get mojo wise. We flat out don't win the cup without CG's dedication to the beep beep video and our "thread that didn't exist", and our swearing off mexican food for various inane reasons.
