Centennial Jerseys?

Did the Habs ever wear the jerseys that Koivu and Brisebois are wearing? or did I miss them?

Koivu's blue jersey will be worn at the Canadiens' 100th anniversary day (I think it's December 4th), because it was the first jersey ever to be worn by the Canadiens. Brisebois, I don't know.

Both will be worn next season. Funny enough, we might never see them wear those jerseys.

The plan was to play in each at least twice. But yeah the Barber shop one is cursed. so they went with the CA one. Which I really like.

I love that jersey also. The red is darker and looks much better IMO. I know changing the Canadiens jersey is heresy, but if they changed the red to that shade I would be all for it.

I wish they would use the one Dandenault is wearing as the permanent away jersey.

I bought one of those in Montreal a few weeks back. It really is a beautiful jersey and the red is indeed much nicer than the normal one.

I'd be quite content with that sweater and the one Dandy is wearing if they were to adopt them full time. But it wouldn't work technically since the CAC represented the 'Club Athletique Canadiens' which is now CH for 'Club de Hockey Canadiens'

My centennial jerseys should be arriving in the post tomorrow. Ordered the 1915-16 one blank and the stripy/barbershop/convict 1912-13 one customized. Can't wait. Already got the 1945-46 from a previous season. By the way, does anyone know if the barbershop one comes with a written warning along the lines of: Do not run around quickly while wearing this jersey as it could be hazardous to the health of yourself or other people?

I'm really hoping they make the CA one the permanent Third Jersey and RBK Edge the 1945 one and make that the permanent away jersey.
