Komi's expected pay raise + Lang's salary = Bouwmeester's salary.

Will komi be getting such a huge pay raise? He didn't play very well this season.

UFA, somebody will pay him. I'd say the Isles will make a play for him.

If Morrissette is right, then Montreal is ok.

To me it would be a desaster, while he didnt have a good season (like the whole team), this guy can be pretty dominant physically and defensively when he is on his game, I thought he was pretty solid overall in that serie as well, losing our 7th overall pick in 2001 would be a big step back for the org. IMO, He has what it takes to rebound from that season and be a key player for the years to come..

PLZ tell me he is staying..

I don't know....5 million a season should bring a hell of a defenseman in the day of cutbacks

Komisarek = Mike Commodore.

He's not that good, especially not for being a 1st round pick. But the problem is Mike's agent will probably chase the $$ and so will he. He's overrated because he plays in a Canadian market. He got voted to the all-star game, etc etc. I'd laugh if anyone gave him over $3.5 million. Even for $3.5, he doesn't bring enough. Then again, Hamrlik got a ridiculous $5.5 million for being a pylon.

He is a steroid using moron who knows virtually nothing about the game of hockey so I would not take much of anything he says very seriously.

With teams doing a little belt tighten financially this off-season, bet we could sign a #3 or #4 NHL defenseman, somebody just as good as Komisarek, for 1-2 million late in the summer. Komisarek at this point is a second pairing defenseman tops

Jones was 100% correct.

Komo has been a giant ****ing ***** since he got wooped by Lucic earlier in the year. Completely different player. Anyone who signs him to a big contract better hope he finds his testicles shortly after signing.

The Moose predicted that 75% of the team will be gone this summer, which is absolutely ridiculous.

I'm sure he's going to enjoy fitting into the Vancouver lineup quite well.

Ohlund - Salo
Mitchell - Komisarek
Edler - Bieksa
O'Brien or Vaananen
