It's nice to have a 3rd line that can actually do ALL of that

Good gawd! PJ's ability to put coherent sentences together is worse than Don Cherry's.

Wish I didn't have to bring back this thread...but PJ is really pissing me off right now. Constantly coming to the defense of bruins players no matter what, starting the whole ''eye-gouge'' thing last night on CBC...gimme a break PJ. You shouldn't be on Montreal radio.

I watched the game on CBC last night, just to see how it his because I'm getting tired of Pierre and Benoît, but I thought the announcer and the commentary guy were equally as bad. Why do they feel the need to tell us what they think the players are doing on the ice? And also, they were praising the Bruins all the time and giving almost no credit to the Habs.

And then Stock came up during the intermission and he's already talking about game 3 and 4 and 5 and how the Habs won't be able to keep up the pace while the Bruins will still be full of energy without being able to provide any reason why. Cherry made more sense in his analysis, that says a lot.

Sadly he has a job cuz of us starting these threads. Warranted or not. I love how they pretend he is a habs guy. Are you kidding me. Azclown who is lucky to have any job nevermind 2. He is lukcy to be relatively photogenic, because if he had the mug of Tim Hunter he couldn't find a job on radio.

Well, it's thruth that Montreal doesn't have a lot of physical players beside Latendresse and Dandenault. Laraque is big, but he has zero speed on his skates. There is a physical law (F=ma) to explain the importance of speed when you hit an opponent... without acceleration (or speed v-square), you have no "force".

However, Montreal has/had a few players willing to use their speed to hit the opponent (Lapierre, Higgins, Kostopoulos, Bouillon (injuried), Bégin (traded)). Problem is that Bégin and Bouillon who are great during playoffs are...... elsewhere.

I don't see the problem with someone telling the thruth.

I'm sick and tired of Bob Cole saying "le Rack" for Laraque.

i'm going to pull my hair out listening to him the whole series.

I guess those who can play hockey, play and those who never could do broadcasting for the CBC.

Chara, Thornton, Lucic, Stuart, Hnidy, Montador, Bitz

Komisarek, Laraque...O'Byrne?

Not that far off in his assessment I'd say.

...Latendresse, Lapierre, Kostopoulos... I mean, let's just skip the Habs' entire banging line, comprised of its three hittiest forwards, it's what PJ Stock would do.

And since we're counting scratches let's not forget Bouillon either.

You, at least, have the excuse of not following the Habs much, so I don't hold it against you. But PJ Stock is on freaking Montreal sports radio.

Stock is ignorant, clueless, and/or a dishonest Bruins homer, my money is on all three. So what's the purpose of him on the CBC, let alone Montreal radio?

i find all this hate for stock is rather hilarious

he goes on cbc and prefers the bruins over the habs and
then everyone says he should go for the canadiens because hes from montreal, and
calls him an explecive name

and in fact he doesnt hate the canadiens, he just hates the typical bandwagon fans who exclude themselves from everything else happening in sports

I couldn't care less what team Stock roots for. I do believe he feels slighted by the Habs, in some way, and takes shots at them any chance he gets, instead of being more objective as a hockey "analyst". He's neither witty nor insightful and is extremely difficult to listen to. He needs to take voice lessons or speech therapy because he's unable to string together one clear sentence without fumbling around like a drunken *****.

I am finding PJ to be almost unwatchable lately on HotStove. Yesterday, he smugly corrected Mclean when he referred to Montreal as the "first place" Canadiens, and then did it again when Healy called Anaheim the "Mighty Ducks", and he's generally talking over people and being annoying in the discussion. Used to like the guy, now awaiting the notice he's fired from CBC.
