Man I've been feeling so great the last few days and now it's back to feeling nervous again.

I know what you mean...the nervousness has been building for me since we found out it was St. Louis. I just want it to be 7PM tomorrow night already!

Even looking back at those 2003 highlights...even the big saves Cloutier made look lucky in retrospect. Like that save on Tkachuk in Game 7, Tkachuk basically buried it into Cloutier's middle when he had a whole net to shoot at.

I am so glad we have Luongo...man.

Are Backes and Bernier going to develop a rivalry as both try and outperform the other?
I'm not sure how often we'll see that match-up, considering that Backes plays on the 1st line. Nevertheless, I'll be checking the hits column to see how Bernier really feels about being No. 2. (I personally think it's not a big deal for Berny.)

How much do these veterans have left in the tank?
I'm looking forward to this more than any match-up! Size, finesse around the net, possibly even some tenacity from our giant (Tkachuk is known for bringing that out in his opponents).

GDT is a win.

3-2 Vancouver in regulation.

I'm afraid history repeats itself

Cloutier laid an egg his first full year in the playoffs. Despite our most wishful thinking, he laid an egg again the second year.

Luongo was awesome in the playoffs two years ago, he will be awesome again this year.

Don't worry guys. What happened in the history will not determine what happens in the future. Remember, "There is no fate but what me make for ourselves". That was the quote Sarah Connor taught John Connor...but that was also the quote that John Connor taught his father in the future to tell Sarah Connor so Sarah Connor could teach it to him! Now I am confused.

Well, the point is that nothing that happened before will effect what happens now.

So, what you're saying is Terminator 3 sucked, so the Nucks will win?

THE BLUES WILL BE SINGING THE BLUES AFTER THIS GAME

I'm excited, I think we come out big and the boys win the first one. Bobby Lou with the goose-egg, and Kesler, Henrik and Salo with the goals, 3-0 win.

We haven't really played any games recently with that kind of playoff-like desperation in awhile. St Louis has been doing that for awhile now, I'm a little worried that this is the Blues' game to steal away. I still like the Canucks in 6 the series though.

3-1 Blues, I think they come out with a little more intensity and are a little sharper to start the game. Hope I'm wrong. Unfortunately I will be missing this game, and its too bad because I've been dying for playoff hockey for awhile. The end of the regular season became a bit of a drag, even with the entertainment of watching the Flames choke the division away.

Canucks in a blow out, 5-1.

I have almost guaranteed it by betting $20 on the Blues and $20 on the under.

Meh, they've done it pretty well before

They certainly do show it.

5-1 Nucks. Just like game #1, the crowd and the hype carry them to a dominating win.

(ignore the team...it's the song I'm getting at)

GAME 1 Vancouver Canucks vs. St. Louis Blues

Prediction: Vancouver gets off to a strong start and a 4-1 victory. Burrows, Daniel, Kesler and Sundin with the goals.

Heart, Integrity, Determination:

Game ON

The thing with the 06 finals is that they didn't start showing it until the Cup finals round. Even then they kept the crowd sound off.

There's no way this team loses its first playoff game in two years on home ice.

The line came from Terminator 2 , but Terminator 3 did suck and the Canucks will win.

Man I am so stoked for tomorrow, you have no idea. Unfortunately I will be missing the first period because I have classes, but after that all is golden.

Anyone think Raymond-Wellwood-Bernier will continue their dominant play against the Blues?
