I'm going to be busy for nearly the entire game, so I might not even be able to watch

Eric Staal is a beast and will help us win the game tonight. Just you watch

Tonight failboat embarks on its long journey off into the sunset to find glory. I just hope no somali pirates hijack it along the way.

Ok, does this day have twice the time in it as usual? It's absolutely crawling by... So, I watched Slap Shot 3. Good laughs... And good mojo. The cup final was started by "Rock You Like A Hurricane" as the players took the ice... I'm feeling a big series by Staal. I can see him dig deap and be THE MAN. Failboat is still on vacation in southern florida.

3 hours until the playoffs begin. If time went any slower, it would be stopped.

I think we'll see Scottie Walker really shine through here in the playoffs. He hasn't played his greatest lately but for what he has gone through this season, who can blame him. Rod wasn't at his game when he first come back and it took him time, they're both warriors and I would bet my money Walker shines tonight and throughout the series/playoffs. Back I believe in January if my memory is correct Walker was playing some good hockey and was one of the hardest working guys out there. I think we'll see that from him beginning tonight. The guy has the heart of a lion and he's one of those guys that probably won't make his mark on the scoresheet, but he'll damn well do it along the boards especially come playoff time. Just a quick thought I figured I would toss out there.

I also have a feeling we'll see big games from Staal, Cole, Ruutu, Brind'Amour, Gleason and for the minutes he will play, I bet Eaves throws his body around. I even have a good feeling Nic Wallin will be a rock.

Unknown object picked up on radar. Possible failboat. Alert ECU and his buddies, fast.

Does anyone know if this game is nationally televised tonight? NHL.com says its on NBC but NBC's website isn't showing that its on tonight.

Pretty sure no. VS is Pitt-Philly. We have regional coverage (which apparently is not in HD, why?)

It's on TSN2, and hopefully FSN (the channel guide says they're showing Reds baseball though) but not Versus or NBC. NBC has regular programming and Versus has the Flyers/Penguins series at 7

Do they actually show Reds baseball on Fox Sports in NC?

Every now and then they'll pick up an obscure game like that. They do the same thing during college football season

It will definitely be on FSN. The guide probably is not updated because the playoff schedule was not announced until Sunday.

Wednesday, April 15 definitely has more than 24 hours!!! I've done laundry, packed for a trip, done more laundry (that didn't have to be done today), taken a bath and done my hair early ... and it's STILL 50 minutes to puck drop!!! (And the monkeys ... boy, are they rattling the cages!!! )

ROCK 'EM, SOCK 'EM, LET'S GO, CANES!!!

According to my dream, Staal will score on a delayed penalty late in the third to tie the game 1-1. Then our Bret Hedican strips the puck from their Bret Hedican and scores on a breakaway in overtime to win the game.

Don't ask.
