He announced the Carmelo Anthony trade before anyone, to a tee, and he also predicted Kaberle for Joe Colborne and a 1st, 24 hours before it happened. He's a credible source.
He also announced Semin to the Islanders and numerous other bogus reports (ie: Andy Reid was being replaced by Jon Gruden). Regarding Carmelo, he also called the Knicks pulling out completely, the Nets being a done deal, and a ton of other stuff over the last few days.
Throw enough **** against the wall and some of it is bound to stick.
That would have been even worse than the Goligoski trade... Gaborik is a great player but he's like always injured and we don't need more depth on the wing... And Gilroy wouldn't add anything to the team that we already have... And in that situation we would still have kept Niskanen... So really, that would have been just awful...
