I agree. People keep saying it's gonna be a snoozer, but wouldn't it be great if the Jackets make it a little scary for Detroit?

Didn't the Jackets already blow out Detroit like 8-2 already this season? It's not like CBJ is exactly a pushover. Especially in their very first series EVER.

The journey begins tonight!

Is it for sure that Adams is in for Godard? I guess the fact that Cote isn't around could be swaying Bylsma there, but I think I would still dress Godard for Game 1 and then adjust accordingly.

Should be a good one. Let's get to them early.

Ok its back to work again for the Pens. I'm hoping that they come right out of the gate flying and play with some real snarl. I think that the Flyers are really weak in their own end and with some added pressure that will be the striking point for the Pens. Grinding it out in the offensive zone and putting some real wear and tear on Philly's D. In the end it will be the team that has the better special teams that comes out of this series.

If special teams determines this, flyers win

we need to win with even strength power

i saw a stat somewhere that our powerplay the last 12 games was at 24% and our PK was in the 90's or something.

its definitely a little better now, looking at the whole season yes the flyers have the edge, but over the last month it could be a toss up.

Only 2 more hours of half assedly studying for my bio organic chem final before puck drop.. but lets be honest here, my mind is only on one thing

..ok maybe 2

If everyone isn't anxious enough here is another 15 seconds of chills to get you through the wait..

The world would be a better(or scarier?) place if we could clone Orpik 1000 times

This series will be intense. And, I think you're thinking of the game against Nashville.

I'm so excited for this game!

I wore my Crosby shirt today and have my Crosby jersey on stand-by for the actual game. I came home and got all the laundry done so there will be no interruptions tonight.

GO PENS.

1 hour... time to get the jersey on and enjoy it.

Start fast and play 60 minutes.. it's the only thing I can ask of the Pens.

I knew Nashville did it, but I just dug up a recap and CBJ did it as well.

http://bluejackets.nhl.com/team/app?...9&service=page

Then they lost 4-0 in their next meeting a week later.
