i am quite surprised by how well dandy is playing..i mean its not amazing but very solid
breezer is brutal..hes made like 2 horrible plays on the pp...and here i thought rest would have made him ready for tonight.. please come back soon markov!
In any given period, I like Boston's chances to overtake Montreal so I'm not worried about the game. That being said, this game should not be this close. Kovalev is going to be a force they haven't seen all season long and the Bruins need an answer for him.
I'm still thinking about that open net missed by Tanguay. And that 3 on one with Metroplit and Higgins (or was it tanguay higgns). One too many passes on that play.
My plan of attack going into the third:
1. Run Thomas early, get him going
2. Laraque needs to draw someone into a fight and smoke him
3. Shoot, shoot, shoot some more
We can out skate the Bruins if we can buzz around in their zone and win battles for the puck we'll win
1. Do it legitimately, not like Perry.
2. Draw a fight, but don't get the instigator, and smoke Chara, Lucic, or Thornton.
3. Thomas is giving up some rebounds, I hope they keep putting pucks on net.
This game as been rather tame compared to the last game these 2 played last week..I guess either Julien told his players to try and control themselves a little better or maybe having BGL in the lineup is making a difference.Either way the Bruins are not trying to rough it up after whistles tonight like last game...

where gorges WAS when he passed, THATS where u have to shoot to beat thomas, so i was RLY pissed to see him pass that..if anything..he should of passed to higgins, higgins is LETHAL from that spot

Well I remember in 1993 that we played Buffalo and all the games ended 4-3.....all for Montreal. So you can win in 4 but it can still be tight games. We haven't won anything and if there's one game we have to win it's that one. Boston seem ready to be beaten though I expect they'll battle back in the 3rd. Even if it gives us momentum for the rest of the series 'cause we're giving them a tougher challenge than expected, it doesn't mean that they can't end it soon.
But I agree that it's probably already tougher than they had expected.
