Roll Call: Game 2 @ Verizon Center

Just picked up a couple of tickets off the capitals ticketexchange...I suggest anyone that can, do the same. They're not badly priced at all...let's get some more Rangers fans in there!

Well, it's 3 hours from Jersey to DC and 2 hours from Jersey to LI.

So 5 hours each way is probably about right.

yeah, it's about a 3 to 3.5 hour shot. there are trains that leave at 7 and 8 am saturday morning that would get you there in time.

Yes, it would be the best way to go. DC Metro goes from Union Station to Chinatown where the MCI Center is I believe.

debating going with my cousin.

..could someone help me out with a few question

1- is there a train that leaves from penn station?
2-how much is a round trip?
3- how long would a train ride be vs driving

thanks so much

Man if I didn't already have plans this weekend, I'd definitely make the trip down. Acela is extremely expensive, but there are a number of privately-owned buses that operate from down in Chinatown that take you directly to D.C.'s Chinatown (which is the neighborhood that the Verizon Center is located in). I would imagine you could probably do it for under 50 bucks and combine that with a ticket and it would actually be cheaper than attending at MSG.

www.amtrak.com

it's pricey. We need a better national rail system that people cab afford.

try bolt bus or some cheap coach company.

I'll be there, heading down friday night by car. Anyone know a good spot to meet up for drinks prior to (or after game) so that we can all get together no matter which section we are in? Just a thought. GO RANGERS!
