Gorges was the goat tonight..Stupid penalty at a crucial time in a tie game..This was the Habs chance to steal a game in Boston but Kevin f***ing Pollack would have none of that...
The Habs really missed Markov tonight..This team is just not the same without Markov in the line up..5 straight loses now without Markov so hopefully he can come back.Watching Brisebois play makes me physically ill.
You're right. Gorges is wise and chances are that we win the game. Don't understand people blaming the refs. You know the refs might be biased at their home, you know that they are inconsistant, and then you give them as clear as a check I've ever seen?
Come on people. Gorges's fault by a mile.
No chite Sherlock, the problem was rather all those penalties they didn't call on the Ruins, the many hits to the face by Lucic, the cross check from behind on Metropolit, the trippings and hooks... Biased, you say? Montreal only got TWO powerplays. Ruins can say thanks to the refs.
Ruins couldn't even pull a better effort than a 3-2 game given to them by the refs, without Markov on the Habs lineup.
Kostitsyn standing there and waiting for the puck, no effort, no urgency thats what happens. Cant really blame Mathieu on that one, Lucic was skating and he beat Andrei for the puck. Damn, this is a hard one to take. Stupid play by Gorges we had all the momentum going at that time. I hope Brisebois never plays another game for us and I mean NEVER Koivu Kovalev and Higgins were the best forwards on the ice tonight IMO. Price had a nice game, what can you do against an open shot from Chara..
Gotta say, I was pretty impressed with the way the Habs played. For the last 10 in the second and the first 8 in the third they took it to us. I thought the B's really controlled the first and the last ten minutes.
Hopefully the Bruins bring a more consistent effort on Saturday.
Oh, and what was the Montreal announcers' reactions to the end? Did it look on your broadcast like Komisarek gave Hunwick an eye gouge?
