Cole has been useless these series.

It seems that he is turning the puck over every single time he is in possession.

That one was pretty legit this time. Joni with the shot to the mid section with his stick after the whistle. It won't get called every time, but if they're calling everything on you so far in the game anyway you don't want to take the chance.

They've let far worse go in this game though. Why pick that particular one to call?

we need to quit whining about refs.

Devils checking line is way better than our top guys.

If they win it won't be because of refs; if we win it would be because we get lucky.

I like how we're playing the last several minutes. We need to keep this physical style and tempo.. seems like we've got the Devils on their heels for now.

We need to hit the net. The Devils aren't giving us much time in their zone, so we need to make our chances count.

LOL there's those boards. Of course, they're still the same for this period. I bet they have their staff look at them at intermission.

Cole turns it over again and almost leads to a chance.

Damn, wish Staal would have taken the shot and let Cole crash the net for a possible rebound.

At least that was a little bit of pressure there. No scoring chances, that I could see.

Why the hell do we never get a guy in front of the net when someone is doing their work behind the net.. all they're trying to do is cycle it forever.. at some point you gotta get yourself in position to shoot.

The Devils had 4 guys right in front of the net anytime we tried to get someone there. There's no way you could get a pass through that.

How are you guys looking, comrades? Unfortunately, I have no way to watch the game, I'm just following along through the Yahoo boxscore.

Better than yesterday, hopefully not the best we could be doing though.

Still taking some undisciplined penalties in the defensive zone (Pitkanen and Brindy last period) but the team came to play tonight unlike Wednesday. Of course, so did the Devils so it's been a good one.

They put 3 or 4 guys there everytime because they know our guys are soft and not willing to take the abuse to get position. Ruutu and Cole somewhat try, but either way they're not going to score many goals, if any at all, shooting from the perimeter all the time.

Pitkanen has been one of our worst D-men all series, making stupid decisions and taking stupid penalties. Get your head into the game, Joni.. Jesus.

Pitkanen taking a shot from like 100 feet.. WTF are you doing? At least gain center ice before firing it in.

Eaves was good tonight. Always in your face and finishing his checks.

I wish Samsonov and Brind'Amour weren't such slow turtles, barely moving across the ice.
