Yeah Pitkanen has been awful. Of course as I say this I expect him to score the game winner.

Time to move Larose back down to the 3rd line where he belongs, and move Eaves up. He's been one of our best players all night.

Our PP is awful, but what do you expect when Kaberle is on the first unit.

laughing stock of PP.
Dumping puck in, and then chasing it back

Also, Pitkanen changed his behavior. He always, I mean always used to pass the puck to Babchuk to shoot.
All game long tonight he is trying to shoot himself and never passes.

Might be because Maurice knew that the Devils would be keeping the pressure on Babchuk and told Pitkanen not to force the pass.

You'd think he could at least try to see what Devils would do.
I think based on this and the penalties he's taken, it is personal for Joni now and he forgot the hockey is a team sport.

This game will turn on whichever team has a breakdown first in their zone that creates a screened chance or an open net. Not many chances to be had - we're still playing the way NJ wants to.

I wish we tried to dump the puck more off the back wall here instead of wrapping it around. We might get those bounces a bit more.

Great time to ice the puck!
There could have been a call or two against us the last few, probably not called because so many earlier went against us.

We can safely assume Wallin will be on ice the entire OT.
Who else is going to score on Marty.

You stole my joke.
How hilarious would it be to see him win it again though?
