Top Shelf Appreciation Thread

I saw our very own Top Shelf tackle a guy with a octopus tonight with about a minute left in regulation. He made sure that thing wasn't thrown on our ice and was carried off in spite of it. He deserves our appreciation and that's why I started this thread. He's my official hero and I wanted to start a thread for us to give him some thanks.

Thank you T.S.

Seriously? Did they throw him in jail? Seems the "Nationwidey" thing to do...

But that's ****ing awesome. He was actually doing the Octopus ****er a favour; might've gotten himself killed if he had succeeded.

Wish I was there with him, that game gave me FAR too much aggression, I would have LOVED to have taken an octipi and shoved it back in their face!

Hey Shelf, are you doing anything Thursday night? I hear the Wings are planning on throwing octopi disguised as pucks at Mason. Obviously you were the best line of defense tonight! Atta boy!

Dear Top Shelf,

You are my player of the week...no, month. Way to take one for the team! Tonight you became the last line of defense. I'm proud of you. Really!

Was the Mr. Shelf? My son ran over to help him and kicked the octopus under the bleachers after it was dislodged from the Wings a-hole. Congrats to Mr. Shelf. He was terrific.

I once saw Top Shelf pull Jordan Tootoo off an old lady wearing a CBJ third.

Seriously TS, well done brother. I hope you are at the Rbar Thursday night so I can pat ya on the back. I hope the repurcussions were mild.

That was in Section 101, right? I saw that one. Wings fan looked like he was going to stuff the squid through the camera hole in the glass but (edit) someone jumped the guy. It also looked like everyone in the area got to stomp on the octopus.

Atta boy, Shelf.

Yeah section 101. If anyone sees Top Shelf at the R-Bar on Thursday buy him a beer. He did the Blue Jackets fans a major solid. The other fans where holding it up like a severed head. People were stomping on it. It was totally awesome.
