Tremblay: "Gainey must leave"

Didn't take him very long, did it?

http://www.cyberpresse.ca/opinions/c...oit-partir.php

Predictably, he spends the most ink whining about how he's driving all the Quebeckers out of the team -- this time he's complaining about the coaching staff, too.

Since last season started, I bet. He's been updating it a little, but last year he didn't get the chance to use it.

I say you should remove the link, don't give this guy any traffic, you're basically feeding the troll.

How the **** can a published journalist mention Hartley as a Quebecois coach?

I say this season and all the pressures and injures is a write off. you give Gainey one more year then really think hard about axing him. right now, this is not smart.

If someone speaks french and you like him, he's Québécois. If someone has a french name and don't play for the Habs, he's also Québécois (Marc Savard, Patrick Marleau).

Didn't read it, and I don't intend to do so, but somehow I think Gainey will resign before being fired. If so, it will be done in the next few days as to let a new GM prepare the draft.

As oppposed to Andre Savard's and Rejean Houle's tenure?

I certainly hope Gainey doesn't leave, but if he does, he'll leave the team in much better shape than either of his two predecessors did.

Man, I feel bad for the Francophone Habs fans in Montreal who have to put up with that garbage from the media, on such a constant basis.

Why do you think it is so prevalent? It's almost pro-separatist, the way some of them preach about the way Montreal SHOULD be, who belongs there and who doesn't, etc.

Serious kudos to a player like Koivu who has stayed true to the team and the city, even though people like Tremblay most likely want him gone.

Oddly enough, the only place I have to put up with that is here.

I just think it's horrible journalism how obvious it is he will call someone a Quebecois if it serves his purpose. He wants to complain about Quebecois coaches not in Quebec, so instantly, Hartley is a Quebecois. Melanson however, he does not mention, even though he is as much of a Quebecois as Hartley(Franco born outside of Quebec)

No wonder why some Habs fans are ignorants, they get brainwashes. How do you want to compete if no UFA sings here? He blames Gainey for not attracting big UFA's but he's part of the reason he isn't Hypocrite, ugly, old fart,

he's driving all the Quebeckers out of the team? No the MEDIA are driving Quebeckers out of town, like Tremblay.

Reporters will NEVER blame themselves. That would be like shooting yourself in the foot.. So ya, they have to blame someone and they can't blame themselves. So they will blame the one person they don't like..

I'll never buy or read anything he will ever write or say ever again.. Good Job *******!

Rejean Tremblay is a **** disturber, he gets paid to sell newspapers. I hope the new owners ban this guy from the Press Box, he gives french canadians a bad name.

The worst case is, he's not even the worst at this newspaper. I'm just awaiting the explosion of glee and the insulting tirade against Gainey that is sure to come from Blanchard. (You heard it here first!)

I think la Presse publishes Blanchard so that Tremblay will look rational.
