Our PP is 1-14, Jersey's 1-18. We're clicking at 7%, NJ at 6%. So why is anyone worrying about calls - will it matter?

That Devil looked like he was shot out of a cannon on the boards there. I thought that was our domain

I live in Charlotte and can't seem to find the game on DISH. And the "local" CI channels are blacked out like usual. But it appears I can wait 'til 9:30pm and see it on VS. Grrrrrrr...!

Whitney's looking a little sloppy, and I say that right as he sets Cullen off on a 2-on-1. Cullen cut in too close for a top shelf shot like that.

easy.... all those calls leave less precious time to actually score goals.

Ok so far. At first there was some room to skate, and we've had a few looks (but not many). No real good ones (as I type we have one). But its tightened up some. I like the fact that we are moving pretty freely (but then so are they at times). Not seeing anything much to denote any trends.

Looks like Marty might not have put that game behind him mentally after all.

I love how half the time his own teammates don't expect Whitney to be able to make the passes he does.

What was LaRose thinking??????? How DARE he not make any effort to get out of King Marty's Royal way? LaRose a clown...thinking he should after the puck while Brodeur is coming his way. You should have gotten atleast 18 minutes in the box.

...I am ashamed of this team and Chad LaRose.

Wow. What a period for both teams. I think this is as tight of a series as there is so far in the playoffs. It doesn't get any more even than this.

First goal will be crucial. Sounds like a broken record. The boys keep playing like this for 60 minutes and good things just may happen.

It'll be an interesting and exciting final 40 thats for sure.

Good for McCreary for not being manipulated into making a bad call to please the unhappy ones. Could the Devils do a litttle more to try and draw one? It's not subtle enough. Hopeufully the refs keep that fortitude all the way.

But more importantly, and this is stating the obvious, but when we beat NJ 3 out of 4 this year, we did it by forcing them to play our style. Thats tougher at their joint, but we cannot win this series with our first two lines not producing. Give some credit to their D, even a lot of credit, but when we get chances we HAVE to bury them. Thats our biggest storyline so far this series.

Neither team has taken charge here, Brodeur is playing well but seems edgy, and Cam needs to tighten up some with our lack of production.
