Remenber Patrick Traverse?

Defenseman Patrick Traverse had two goals and an assist to lead the Sharks in the AHL playoff series over Hartford!
As much as the Hab defensive core needs to be rebuilt, young prospects abound in the AHL, OHL and US college ranks.
The future is promising on defense.

If it's okay with you I'd much rather not remember Patrick Traverse...

6'4 and like 180lbs

Part of O'Byrne's problem is that he's not filled out enough. He needs to hit the gym while maintaining his mobility

Hopefully he won't turn into Patrick Traverse 2.0

I'm actually happy things are going well for him. He was a terrible player, the worst I've ever seen suit up for the Canadiens, but he looked like a good guy who knew he was having a hard time and who only wanted to help.

Yeah thats part of his problem, the other part is that he is petrified of anything that moves.

Not unlike these amusing creatures....

just when I had finally stopped remembering him...

apart from having a bit of a physical edge sometimes, i kinda see the Traverse 2.0 in O'byrne.

I'm taking credit for 'Travesty' I was banned for a day because of it. Sensitive mods back then.

Ah the great defensive duo of Brisebois and Traverse. Those were the times!

Me too. He had just set up a new family home near that team and his kids were going to school there (IIRC) when Gainey acquired him for the Dogs a couple of years back. Despite having to leave everything behind, he joined the Dogs and did a decent job for them before Gainey was able to trade him back there after a few months so he could be with his family again (the return being Biron). Good for him

How Brisebois is a career plus player, I'll never know after the years with Traverse & Laflamme.

Maybe he can be named our new defense coach if he retires this summer

I created the Traverse and Popovic appreciation club on facebook for the lulz.

Traverse was so bad I wanted him to get the puck so I could get a good laugh.

I remember a game vs the blues where he fired the puck 20 feet wide on a 4 on 0 breakaway

You really need to add to our misery by remembering us the existance of Patrick Traverse?
