Agreed. He should have started Avery and benched him if he got out of hand. Avery is an emotional leader on the team, they look flat and uninspired without him.

What the Hell does Orr add to a playoff roster????

How many times do you drop the gloves in the playoffs??? Not enough to justify this guy being on the roster. Sunday Avery & Voros in (prefer Artem) and Orr in a SUIT with a very nice view!

Uninspired means lack of effort. Being off and not trying are two different things.

Anyway, on to praying for some offense.

Seriously I expect us to lose this game, but like this??!?! Where the hell is the heart? Why is only Dubi and Cally bringing their A-game to the rink?

Refs are screwing us over too, again, Gomez and Antro's penalties were pure BS.

Our PP suck, I rather we play 4-on-4 instead of having a man advantage.

Weak goal by Lundqvist.

Zherdev is MIA.

AND WHY THE **** ISN'T AVERY PLAYING TONIGHT!?!?!

This has blowout game written all over it, looking like 5-0 or 6-1 final. Truthfully I fully expected a loss tonight, because I knew the Caps would come out guns ablaze. So be it, just try to keep it respectable and take this series back home. Avery being benched, imo, was a terrible idea, and not because of the way weve looked tonight.

I can sense exactly what Avery is feeling right now. Watching your team get crushed. He will come out FLYING in the next game. He'll be a completely different player. I'm really liking this decision.

That's a little drastic. I would have liked to have had the nuclear option tonight though.

Eh, this is the game to do it, though. The Caps are playing God-awful right now. They look terrible.

This would have definitely been the game to do it.

If they win, it will only add more momentum to them.

And Drury only has 2:52 of ice time...somehow the Craps manage to get their two goals during that limited time.

Can only imagine what's going on in the locker room: Torts is yelling, Gomez is smirking, Rozy is falling down, Voros is picking his nose, Zherdev has disappeared somewhere, and Avery came down from the press box to squirt Torts with a water bottle.

The Rangers need to find a way to start putting some pucks in the net when the going gets tough.
I'd say without Hank we'd be competing with the Islander for Tavares. But this is the Rangers. They mostly likely would have finished exactly where they are now...only just outside the playoffs.

Unfortunately, in typical Rangers fashion, the ability to score won't be coming until next year when the team once again undergoes a dramatic transformation. Let's remember, Rangers management has always had the attention span of a 10 year old child with a severe case of ADD.

Seriously. If anyone needs to be benched for a game it's Drury not Avery.

Hand this team over to Dubi-Korp-Cally and get Drury the **** out of here.

Chris Drury: 2:52
Aaron Voros: 3:18

wow.

Guys, Mike "I've put my entire salary on the home team at a mob bookie" Assenfratz and VanAssenHoven are reffing... what would you expect? We will get the shaft the entire night from the zebras.

Not that it's necessary, because this team catching a 2 goal lead? Haha... yeah right.
