Last Meeting

With a chance to close out the hated Flyers at home, the Penguins came out intense in the 1st period. In a game that they could have lead 2 or 3 to nothing, they had nothing to show for their hot start. For the next 40 minutes, the Flyers were the aggressor. They got solid goaltending from Biron and unlikely scoring from Aaron Asham which would prove to be more than enough.

Philly Fans Are Smart

Inspirational Videos of the Day

Language/offensive videos above

What videos are there to watch after 5 games? We've seen all the classic Pens-Flyers highlights. We've watched Keith Primeau break our hearts and Mario bring down the house. We all know about the losing streak in the Spectrum for all those years and how the Flyers used to dominated us in the playoffs. We know that Philly fans hate Sid and have no doubt spent countless hours in their homes making 3-word signs for today's game. Here's a fun video just because it's game 6 and there's nothing else left to say, except... Let's Go Pens.

Sidney Crosby. Today he shows why he is the best young captain in the league, with apologies to Pierre McGuire and General MacArthur Richards.

It's A Great Day for Wearing Two Jerseys

We have history on our side, as well as the statistics...

Besides, Philly hasn't played poorly since game 1. They are due for a bad game.

GO PENS!!!!!!!!

60 minutes. That's what we need. 60 minutes of solid hockey and we're advancing.

We can do this.

I want this series to end already. Despite the pleasure at moving out to the lead in the series, and overall being happy with what is happening on the ice overall, it has been a pretty annoying week. The inability to get the matchups we want on the road is a factor, but I like our chances to get beyond that and do well. Win today and let's move on.

100% agree. No reason in the world that this needs to go back to Pittsburgh for Game 7. If we play an aggressive game with a good forecheck and maybe just maybe get a goal or two on the PP then we'll take their crowd out early and be good to go.

However, if we come out like a limp .... then they'll be happy to take it to us and push it back to Pittsburgh with al of the momentum.

First goal today is huge.

Hey, I'm a Bills fan too! Been my whole life, we can suffer together, brother.

Hopefully we can dig deep and close this thing out today. Gonna be a really tough task; afternoon game, in Philly, Flyers have all the momentum, Malkin is basically skating alone on the second line. I wish I didn't have work, but I pray we can get the job done. LET'S GO PENS. BURN THEM TO THE ****ING GROUND.

Painful, isn't it? Everette Brown/Orakpo at 11 and trade up a few spots from 28 to get Pettigrew in the early 20's. That would be a good 1st round.

I have a really good feeling about this game today. LGP!

Same here. Game 5 hurt so bad because a Game 7 seems almost inevitable now.

I am pretty sick and tired of the uninspired play I have seen out of these guys in the last few games. I want them them to come out swinging in this game. I want some real physicality, I want a friggen blowout. I want to see a game that makes me really convinced these guys have what it takes to take down the bigger and better teams in the league.

Pray For It & We Shall Receive It!

Our Father, Who art in heaven
Hallowed be Thy game;
Thy kingdom come,
Thy Flyer's will be done,
on earth as it is in heaven.
Give us this day our daily Goals,
and forgive us our missed passes,
as we forgive those who score against us;
and lead us not into temptation,
but deliver us from Evil Philly with a Win. Amen!

Lets Go Pens

This GDT is the Cats Balls Yo Scuds....great job. LOVE the Poz jersey, got one myself. I'm not much of a Stillers fan...sorry yinz guys, but I am a HUGE Penn State fan thus following my favorite player to the Bills. So hopefully if TO acts up Poz will rip his head off, although TOs a monster too. Either way great videos.

BOOM!
