Come fail away....ECQF Game 6 Devils @ Canes 7:30

A gathering of angels appeared above my head
They sang to me this song of hope, and this is what they said
They said come fail away, come fail away
Come fail away with me
Come fail away, come fail away
Come fail away with me

7:30 game time on VERSUS nationally.

Series is 3-2 Devils.

This means its a win tonight or....

everyone off the failboat.

The question that I have been asking myself for two days and am almost afraid to know the answer to: Anton Babchuk. Is he in or out?

Not sure my nerves will be able to handle this day. What beautiful tailgating weather it's going to be, though!

I think he'll be inserted into the line up over Kaberle and will play with Wallin again. I think at practice that was what was happening.

There's no way Kaberle needs to be in over him. I'll be po'ed if I see that again.

I say if Sammy is not playing go with 7 dmen, Because dressing Conboy or Helminen is pretty much a waste. (you can play babs on the PP and nothing else)
Other than that keep Babchuk in street clothes, he has been horrible this whole series.

Maybe it's time to give Leighton a start, you know Cam has started 5 straight and has 3 losses

Too hell with the Devils.

If the dream I had last night is any indication, Chad LaRose wins this, 3-2, in overtime.

Unfortunately, though, since you have to win by 2 games, New Jersey ended up winning the series 9 games to 7 in Game number 16.

FACK! I gotta go to some stupid Jack and Jill wedding party @ 6pm. Might be able to catch the tail end but that just sucks. Please keep detailed accounts on the GDT for me. Will check in when I get back.

Go Canes... or whatever

Babs in?.... Hope he pulls the trigger a few times tonight and everyone else plays with the intensity that LaRose and Ruutu have every game. In that case, even an epic FAIL is righteous.

I'll be at RBC early to get a head start on adding my voice to the RBC noise tonight. Go Canes!

If it gets to the second period and we are desperate for scoring I would put
Whitney-Staal-Cullen on a line together. Argueably our three best on the same line....

OK, I'm torn and need advice. Do I post my superstitious failboat reference pre-game post, which is 8-2 (but one of those two was Thursday)?

I should add one important piece, I didn't get to post it in the playoffs until Thursday, so playoff record is 0-1.

Thanks, Bluto.

After consulting the playoff oracle, I have been told to ride a hot hand and not ride a cold one. No post.

Go Canes!!
