Wow guys, that tying goal was the definition of clutch. Beautiful, beautiful effort.

Congratulations. Even though I was hoping to see you lose.

thanks for the well wishes guys. That never should have been a first round matchup. Single craziest series I have ever witnessed.

I hope you guys can convince the Hurricanes to wear the old Whaler unis for one of the games, for old time's sake.

Hartford retained the rights so they couldn't...no matter how hard we begged.

Your team was the more deserving. They didn't give up down really late. Every skater on the ice fought to keep the puck in the offensive zone.

It was an incredible series, and I wish you the best as the Hurricanes go for the Stanley Cup.

What an amazing ending to an amazing series. Too bad I'll have to spend the rest of my life trying to forget it.

Congrats and good luck the rest of the way.

I didnt care bout this series but to be honest even I had trouble catching my breath this game, so intense. How did you all go through that like that???

Def. one for that ages, best of luck vs the Bruins, get Cole to bring the cup back up to Oswego!

Congrats to the Canes

Congratulations to the Canes for winning this EPIC series.

Personally, I felt this team was going to do some playoff damage when they got on that hot streak:

the record-breaking streak of consecutive wins at home
the lopsided win over Calgary
the 9-goal win over Tampa

Congrats to you guys too. I love hockey. I love courteous away fans. I love the fact that this series was played CLEANLY and decided in 7 games.

Then Hartford should change their name from Wolfpack back to the Whalers.

Devil fan here, Congrats on the series guys. Your team deserved it a lot more. Ward really outplayed Brodeur too.

I'll be rooting for Carolina going forward! (I'm in Albany, so I root for the rats). I'm a poor rangers fan - so now I fall back to changing lets go hurricanes!

Best of luck, Canes fans. While I may loathe your bells and whistles after your team scores at the RBC Centre...you guys have a hell of a team. Staal, Brind'Amour, Whitney, Ward...hell, even Jokinen....clutch. That one word will take you far in the playoffs. It's something I was used to the Devils exhibiting in their dominant years. It's frustrating beyond belief to lose like this. However, major props to your team and your fans and best of luck against Boston. Should be a dynamite series!

One more thing....could one of you set me up with one of the Canes dancers? I could use some loving right now
