Good news???

From hockeyinformer.com

Robert Lang, Detroit Red Wings - Lang is scheduled for an X-ray today and is expected back in the Wings' lineup next week. That would give him a couple of games before the season ends. Lang is out with an injured rib.

Kris Draper, Detroit Red Wings - Draper will likely return from a rotator cuff injury sometime next week, reports the Detroit News. He has been skating consistently for the past several days and is only limited in taking slapshots since he doesn't want to re-aggravate the problem. Barring a setback when he is evaluated today, Draper should return for the final three games or so of the regular season.

Today's Detroit News also says that the Wings expect Draper, Lang, and Dandenault to play next week. That's great news.

It would be great if Detroit could finally play a few games with a full roster before the playoffs start.

That makes me look forward to the game on the third that much more! It will be great to have almost every one back and healthy. Now if we don't lose anyone else (knock on wood)...and could get Jason Woolley back, and Cujo working right...oh hell, I'll take what I can get.

Welcome back, Robert, Kris and Mathieu!

The injuries worked out just right that these guys would be back just in time. It's a shame that Woolley is done for the year but with the emergence of Rivers, that loss isn't so big anymore.
