How sad is it to think the Nucks picked Nedved and Antoski in the first round when they could have had both Jagr and Tkatchuk or even Brodeur..

The Dionne trade was a definite heartbreaker...

Marcel deserved a lot better.

Technically it was, more or less, Reasoner. Corson was signed by the Blues, and the Oilers were awarded a couple of 1st rounders as RFA compensation. Keenan traded CuJo and Grier to get those picks back, one of whom was Marty Reasoner

Indeed, I'm still crying.

The Senators turned around the franchise with this move.

For the Oilers, there the obvious: Gretzky.

In modern times, it broke my heart to see Niniimaa leave town.

As a Dallas fan, losing Niewy, Hatch and Hull was devastating...
As a Pens fan, well there's too many departures to mention...

Its about the past trade/non trade transactions. It doesn't matter when it came out because you can't change history.

Some of the trades they mentioned just made me go...what?

Trading Nedved for Zubov and Kovalev was bad?

Well if the Canucks had made those other picks instead...with our luck this is how it would have turned out.

Nedved would have become Greatzky in probably Detroit, and Antawski would have become Tkachuk. While Vancouver would have been stuck with that bum Jagr who can't find his own end and dosn't score enought to overlook that fact, maybe if he had someone to set him up he may pop a few in. And that other bum Tkatchuck the guy that dosn't want to fight. When a crusher becomes a rusher, he'll soon become an usher. And the worst of the bunch. That Broedeur guy. I think facing 99 shots a game behind our defence may have ruined this dude beyond repair. Some have sugested that unless we fix our d that Vancouver will become a goalie graveyard. I don't believe it. I think the dude just sucked and should have probably gone in the second round. Who drafts goalies in the first round anyways? Idiots!!!! Speaking of idiots, imagine if we picked that Nedved kid, wow. Or that power winger in Winepeg Anatwski, man have you seen some one so big skate like that!???Heheh. Shy.

In my experience, the Roenick deal was just devastating to the hawks

December 95: Patrick Roy to the Avs

Since then, the Habs have never been the same.

Toronto is somewhat obvious, but seeing Bondra traded from the Caps tore my heart right out. He's not my favourite Cap of all time, but I always loved him. Knowing he wanted to retire a Cap...I wanted 2 Capitals to stay with the team this year, and those were Bondra and Halpern. Jeff still is (duh), but man...

Granted, I'm only going for trades I've seen happen. But the Bondra trade, and the McCauley trade (TOR) I was rather upset about, but the return has made it somewhat bearable
