Well, I'd definitely be down for that if a bunch of people wanted to do that.

Then you can get jerseys with your usernames on the back, and your avatars in the front.

yeah, I would be in. It could be a little pricey but once we figure out how many we have a few of you guys who know other players could have them come (as long as they aren't very good )

Does anyone know where to get decently cheap composite sticks in San Francisco? I just broke mine over the weekend that I got from Oakland, but don't have the time to get back there.

No idea, I just looked it up real quick and the closest would be Oakland and then East West Hockey in San Carlos

Yeah that's what I was thinking too but the last time I went there, all they had were some cheap plastic sticks.

Yea, East West in San Carlos is the next closest to SF after Hockey X-Sport. I don't think SF has a bona fide hockey specialty store. At least none that I've heard of.

Gonna hit a gretzky either Wed or Thurs or both

Sunday should be interesting. It is my b-day and I have a roller game at 9 and an ice game at 10:30. Gonna be damn tired

I won't quit playing roller but all the back and forth is making my ice skating come along a lot slower

it will be cutting it close for sure. My roller game should start at 9 or 9:05 which means that I will be out (3 15 minute periods with 1 minute in between) of there by about 10:10 at the latest. Pull into Sharks Ice at 10:25 or so and change.

Good luck, I scored a very pretty goal in my last roller game that I hope breaks the little snide I had been on

Do you know Robert Bennet? He's on our team too.

Unfortuantely Vic quit the team. He said it had something to do with $$$ but I think he got PO's in the play off's. For some reason his ice time was way down although he was one of our top 3 scorers in the regular season.

I'll get back to ya.
Vic quite the team? Really? I'll have to talk to him about it on Friday morning. He DID just have a baby so it could be a money issue with him.

A little update with my team, we just won our 4 game in a row (1 preseason, 3 reg season). I got the GWG (1), and two assists. I now have a 4 game point streak and leading the division with 8 points in 3 games. I know its not spectacular, but I only had 11 points last season. Its amazing what quitting daily drinking can do for you!

(that and just getting my confidence back)

You're playing tonight? What ice are you on? I'll be there tonight (hopefully playing), but hanging out nonetheless.

LOL! Calling me a ringer in this division is more of a compliment if you ask me. But yeah, my team is getting much better and we should probably be playing in DD. Our goaltender is ridiculously awesome.

So I ended playing both the roller and ice game, the roller game was alright, legs were like jelly for most of it. But the ice game was nuts. My legs were already warm and I was flying out there. 2 G and 2 A, technically had 4 A but they didn't credit me on them since they were secondary. We were up by 6 so I was bringing all the D to me and passing it off trying to get my linemates some more points.

I told Walt that Ari said hi. He said hi.
