Can't believe they called a penalty there.

...and it's 6-5 good guys!

Luongo folding like a cheap chair.

United Center is rocking. So good to see this town back in the playoffs.

Like Luongo, if you will. Great; until suddenly he's very not great.

It has been fun to watch this team; and watch Havlat show some leadership, too. Crazy to think about Khabibulin was on waivers to start this season; even crazier the contract term given to Huet.

My reaction was there's SOB, Strung won't be happy and then I read that you're smiling ??? Still want him in a Capitals jersey? (and that question isn't based on just tonight)

I was just marveling at Havlat's forecheck. He's playing like six million bucks.

well we've got 15% of our cap scratched (i know not technically with Theo) so that's not saying much for us.

of course its saying a lot if we can dump them.

My god Kane is the man. So glad the US has a guy like him for the Olympics next year.

It's 6:30 in the morning in Finland and I still can't sleep after that Caps game.

I've stated it before but I'm having seconds on my opinion of Kane in the entry draft crow. Would not have taken him 1st overall at the time but Semin knew better than me .

I am not saying the Capitals are the poster child for good contracts, but Theodore is on a 2 year contract. Nylander, yeah, not so good at this point with the NMC, but still not the same as more than a 12M cap hit just for goaltending, plus the Campbell contract.

oh, nothing new but Seabrook and Keith!

I was just thinking of how much fun it would be to go to a playoff game there.

Ok, I know it is too early to be typing this, but Chicago vs Detroit, wow...
