Best Burgers In Vancouver?

Since you were so helpful in my pizza quest I thought I'd seek advice on burgers.

Sometimes, Stampede Burger at Red Robin is just the best way to go.

BTW. Awesome-sauce thread, I like the Parabs.

Best burger I ever had was in this Burger joint in South Maui, Beef fresh from the island... but that's hardly in Vancouver is it?

Market Grill at Granville island, I don't know how I forgot that but they have a tremendous selection of burgers, almost all of them are terrific.

Orly?

I live like 10 minutes away from them, and I've never tried one.

Any recommendations?

I, too live 10 minutes away from there . . . I wonder how often I see you rolling through the neighbourhood?

Vera's is great.

Splitz Grill on Main is also supposed to dominate the Burger competition, though i have yet to eat there.

Listen to me: Moderne Burger. Located right beside Benny's Bagels on West Broadway. This place does the best burgers in town. (Vera Burgers are too fat and the meat is too seasoned for me) They also do amazing shakes, and the cherry/vanilla cokes are syrup injected on site! and it is the coolest looking non-tacky 50's Diner.

Moderne Burger and Vera's are my two picks.

But OT: In-N-Out in Cali is amazing.

One more vote for Moderne Burger. Failing that, Splitz on Main @ around 28th.

Although, if you're feeling classy: http://www.dbbistro.ca/menus/canucks.pdf

You will not be disappointed, my friend. Be advised that the place can have line-ups... But take that as a sign of how good the place is.

Also, there is this really good place on 1067 Davie St called Urban Burger. There are only like 3 things on the menu, but they do them very well. A very simple and clean burger. Similar to a White Spot Burger.

Splitz is pretty good. Their tuna burger, Italian sausage burger and Lamb burger are quite excellent.

There used to be a place on Cambie (and ~17th) called Harlo, but it's gone, their burgers were fantastic.

Crave on Main and King Ed. has very good burgers also - I got mine with blue cheese....mmmmm

Never had Moderne...sounds good. I'm not a huge fan of Vera's.

Still, nothing beats a home-made ground sirloin burger on the grill.

That's all they talk about. Apparently they said it's "Best Burger in North America" good. I really want to try one of these boys.

Best I've ever had was at Feenie's. $15 with fries and for another $30 you could add foie gras. Not that I could've afforded that! Too bad he it tanked with Lumiere.

Vera's is decent... I keep wanting to go to Moderne Burger but it seems perpetually under construction - I assume it actually is open these days?
