C'mon guys, help a car-less, unable-to-ask-for-a-favor brother out.

I'd go with White Spot as my fave.

Not in Vancouver, but I had the In-n-Out Burger here in Langley, when they came up for the car show. Animal style...it was damn good.

If you're ever on the East Coast of America, try Five Guys. They're pretty awesome.

Oh, and White Castle sliders are horribly overrated. They taste like garbage.

I was wondering the same thing after reading this thread. I don't think such a place exists in Vancouver.

The one on SW Marine Drive sure doesn't.

West Broadway? Probably not.

I gave up on it; Dominoes for me tonight.

On-topic: Vera's is a popular choice, and for good reason. They have a great concept and variety of flavors, but their burgers are generally too greasy. Also, some of their burgers have too much in them, which makes for awkward eating (again, sometimes).

The burger is serious business for me. It's my life's quest to find the perfect burger.

I believe on my death bed, I'll come to the realization that....they're.....all.........perfect.

You guys that want burgers delivered to you must be big fans of soggy buns & fries.

If the good lord blessed you with working legs, all you need is a pair of shoes and a shirt and you will get service.

Another great spot is the Argo Cafe - a greasy spoon on 2nd & Ontario, open only for lunch. Old school quality, greasy as hell (for those of you that get turned off by that go start a Best Salad in Vancouver thread), great fries and cheap, cheap, cheap. Only open at lunch, though.

Tommy's Cafe on Mountain Highway in Lynn Valley:

Blue Bayou Burger - sautéed mushrooms, blue cheese, hot pepper mayo, lettuce,
fresh tomato & dill pickle

Oooooh, yeah....

Martini's on W Broadway will deliver you burgers and fries until 2 or 3am. They're pretty damn decent for delivery food but they do get a bit soggy. Mainly it's great that they deliver so late GOD SEND some nights.

Great to know. And I live about 15 minutes away, which isn't too bad.

Read this board every day but never posted, burgers seem like a good reason to. The red onion in kerrisdale delivers some mighty fine burgers

edit: O wait no they only do pick up

Quick question: Has anyone here been to the Burgerloo on Main St. ? Couple of buddies and I want to try it out, but a heads up from anyone here would be nice to have.

That's insane. In-N-Out is pretty good for a fast food joint, but yeah, that's just crazy talk.

I've got to say I agree with this. I had the In-n-Out Burger in Seattle, and to me it was like a rich man's whopper. Not awful, but nothing better than decent imo. In fact, I thought their other sandwiches were significantly better.

Isn't the whole appeal of White Castle that it's a) horrible and b) hilariously novel?

I mean, that's at least how it is to me. I mean, ****, the place sells it's burgers in a 30-pack box called the "Crave Case" for like 15 bucks. How good can you really expect them to be?
