curiously, the Flames are 13 games over .500 with him in the lineup...his suspension was deserved, but alot of players this year have done ALOT worse things than Oliwa.....

He sure hasn't been an embarrasment for us this season. You don't like him? Fine. You should still be able to separate your opinion of him with the impact he's had on the Flames this year. He's made an impact. Sutter has called him the player who has best played his role this year. Not sure why you feel the need to do the drive by attack on him.

I can't believe people out there still defend this guy. Also, an accomplice saying he's a real great guy doesn't exactly hold a lot of water. Sure, your team has done well with him, but imagine how well you could have done without him. He's made a career out of terrible actions and intent to injure situations.

Not sure how you can argue with that stat 3mta3. This year our team has been a better team WITH Oliwa. You can try and argue the reverse but you not presented any evidence and the evidence supporting Oliwa and his role this year is quite solid. I don't really care what he's done in the past or what you think he's done, this year he's played within the role and helped our team. If that irks you, I guess that's the way it has to be.

we are defending Oliwa only because he hasn't done anything shocking really since being a Flame. He does his job, he does fight ALOT-true, and the Flames play bigger when he's in the lineup. Why should we turn on him?

A recent list of players who have committed more shocking fouls than Oliwa includes Messier, Nieuwendyk, McCabe, Bertuzzi etc etc etc
