Come on, how can you explain Riga 06 then? it's not about Dinamo, this players suck big time. It's about Hanlons system and some good offensive guys.

For Belarus it's Grabovski leading the way with 3 goals and 3 assists in 5 games

Success? I don't see any success here. A success would be finals, not qualification for quarterfinals. What did you expect? Latvians should always play in relegation rounds?

Well, if you don't call this year's play of Latvia success then I am not sure what your expectations are. It might be 100 years before Latvia may be playing in the Finals. This is hockey, you really need to upgrade your development system before you can compete at very serious evel.

I think Belarus is doing a good job developing young players. You look at all the young guys besides Grabovski and Kostytsin. Drozd, Gotovets, Demkov, Revenko, Famin, Stefanovich, Sheleg. All good young players who have had good WJ success and will have a place to play in the KHL. Otherwise these guys may not be good enough to get top line minutes on other KHL teams, I see some of these guys eventually playing leading roles on Minsk. The KHL team with the rules that make it mandatory for minimum amount of Belorussians is perfect for the country. If only they can get a team in the new MHL, it will give their top young players a place to play other than the CHL.
I really like the future of Demagin, which I believe Minsk has had a lot to do with his success.

Belarus may improve next year even more after Glen Hanlon is also coaching Dynamo Minsk next season.

too bad top players like Kaluzhny, Antonenko and Koltsov don't play for them. They could have a mini National team.
