They play like they always have done under the leadership of Ralph Kruger.

Well, the problem is that there's still some people who like Krueger and as long as he will be our coach we're doomed

pretty much, but there were better in the past.

i don't think they are even close to compete with a more offensive style. but i guess we will find out next year.

Terrible pass on the 2-on-1 break and it leads to a breakaway at the other end.

Is that a goal?

Krugers hockey works sometimes, but they generally have to score the first goal to have any kind of chance.

But it's not only the coaching of Kruger. I think they need to find a few younger guys with more offensive talent (european top class or even NHL potential) because even if they are well schooled and hard working there are not many guys on the swiss team that can put the puck in the net.

The only players showing some passion today were Gerber, Streit, Wick and Ambühl.

Bezina is probably the worst player in the whole tournament.

Unfortunately it won't happen. It seems that the more he sucks the more ice time he gets from Krueger.

Well, it's difficult to play well if most of your teammates can't play at all.

Considering several others of the team were better than him that is not a valid arguement. I like Streit but this game he was pretty invisible.

Something bad being dominated by us? There would probably only be one or two Swiss players that could have made Sweden's roster, even now that we are fielding a quite mediocre team.

And again our mental weakness was the key, good start with a couple of chance, then the first goal against and we disappeared for the rest of the game. It really amaze me how our national league best goal scorers can't find the net, even with the lower skilled team.

Bad teams can occasionally play well when they are ahead. Bad teams always play bad when they are behind.
