I agreee with the ones who think you shouldn't hold the WC annually. If you make it every second year you can hold qualifing rounds for the smaller hockey countries like Germany, Italy...

But the IIHF would probably miss some money...

I guess pre-championship
rankings were used.

They can be found here

Points from the 2005 tournament
are already deducted and the
points from this year will be added
when the tournament is over.
